First, this is an American Bulldog not a Pitbull. Equally as scary if the owner doesn't have control of it. Dogs do what dogs do unless the owner controls the animal.

The daughter obviously couldn't control the dog and it attacked a baby sea lion.

What if the dog had attacked a baby or a small child? The girl could not have controlled it

This ass has no problem letting his daughter walk around with a deadly weapon which actually will, on it's own kill but he has a problem with me owning an inanimate object, a tool, that will only work as I intend it to.

If his daughter had been walking down the beach with an AR 15, which she could control instead of a dog that she couldn't the sea lion would still be alive.

Well put.

There are two beings on every leash.

Only one is ultimately morally responsible for whatever happens.
