This Week Transcript (Karl Rove makes 'Fried Chicken" joke to Donna Brazile...)
ABC This Week with George S ^ | 3/24/13 | This Week With George S

STEPHANOPOULOS: That was Bill Clinton after Dukakis's loss in '88.

BRAZILE: That was Bill Clinton after Walter Mondale lost, after Jimmy Carter lost. We had a dynamic governor who was reform minded, who took those reform issues and brought them into the national forefront. He really helped recharge the Democratic Party.

But, you know, the Republican Party is out to lunch. I watched CPAC Charl -- I mean Karl.

(LAUGHTER)

BRAZILE: Charles was a former friend.

ROVE: I thought I was a current friend.

BRAZILE: But you're always a friend, but you owe me some chili.

ROVE: But you owe me some fried chicken.

Rove is an idiot. He’s doing nothing to attract people into

the Republican Party. If anything, he’lll drive prospects

away.

ROVE: But you owe me some fried chicken.

I'm of the opinion that Rove is a deep-plant liberal mole, intended to wreck the Republican party.

And pilfer as much money as possible from GOP donors to keep them from giving the money to conservative candidates.

We’ll know for sure if he shows up on Hannity in blackface.

Donna Brazile is from Louisiana. If there was some sort of a Texas-Louisiana rivalry thing going on, Rove would have said “You owe me some gumbo” instead.

It appears Karl Rove kicked off the RNC campaign this morning on ABC.

fried chicken??..not too bad...but if he’d said watermelon we could have had rioting in the streets!.....Whole neighborhoods left smoldering.....and if u tried to put it out with “water”...it would be perceived as racist code words

Next up...a watermelon eating contest, followed up by a soft shoe dance off.

We’re totally going to get the black vote now.

You never heard of Popeye’s? Fried chicken in the South is not an ethnic food, it’s a regional food. Not that I’m defending Rove but this appears to be political correctness to an extreme.
Dinner time and I can’t decide between fried chicken and fried catfish but I know I’ll pray to Jesus and have sweet tea.

Reince Priebus’ and Karl Rove’s $10 million minority outreach campaign is off to a great start. Remember, they know better than us about how to attract the black vote to the GOP.

Karl's good to go, he didn't say a thing about the female reproductive system. But then again, he never does.

I’ve seen Rove in Philly hanging on the corner of Walnut and Broad Street. Rove keeps it real.

Donna Brazile will give Tokyo Rove a pass on his “joke”. The Democrats need him.

Purpose of GOP.

1. To keep the GOP-elite running (or blocking) things.

2. To keep a lid on the Tea Party and conservative folks who are young pups who do actually wnat to change things.

3. To provide cover for the democrats, as they are smart enough to understand incrementalism, the dialectic, and the delphi technique.

It is all sick. Real change cannot be done with these people. And by real change I mean a small federal government, restrained by the limits of the Constitution. No executive orders that become LAW, they are only to be directives only applicable to specific executive branch employees. no imagining up or ignoring the constitution.

Probably right. What I find disturbing is that he is close friends with her. Like Hannity being good friends with all these commies that would put us in camps without a thought.
