SORGUES, France — A T-shirt worn by a 3-year-old nursery-schooler named Jihad has led to an unusual and politically charged criminal trial here that tests the limits of free speech — and common sense — in a France increasingly ill at ease with its growing Muslim population.
“I am a bomb,” the shirt said on the front. The back read, “Jihad Born Sept. 11.”

You can regulate speech but I doubt you'll ever be able to regulate common sense. She named the kid 'Jihad'. She put him in a tee shirt that said he was a bomb. She doesn't expect people to put two and two together?
That 13th was a Sunday. In Germany babies born on Sunday are known as a "Sunday Child" (Sonntagskind) in relation to Christianity. Which is very nice. :)

And unless I missed something, they don’t sell shirts like that at Bon Marche or Old Navy. She had to have had it custom printed, which pretty much underscores her intentions of provoking a whirlwind.

According to the story the "I am a bomb" part was already on the shirt; they just added the name and date. But again, what kind of person names their kid 'Jihad' and then expects us to believe she isn't making a political statement?

Europe needs to bring back the Crusades and the Inquisition.
If the mother is a member of the worldwide death cult, she needs to go to jail.
Think of what would happen in this country is some kid showed up at school wearing a t-shirt with a picture of Hitler and a reference to the death camps in a humorous light. We were not allowed to wear t-shirts when I went to school, but nobody would have been permitted to wear a shirt with a political message on it.
Europe should close the international court. Let each nation declare emergency measures and deport EVERY muslim back the the third world hell hole they came from. Close the borders to any muslim, arab or middle-east immigration forever.
Europe won’t.
