An exhaustive study by three congressional committees delivers startling news about the dire effects of Obamacare: President Barack Obama’s signature legislation could increase health insurance premiums by over 200 percent and render insurance coverage unaffordable for millions of Americans.

Broadly, the new report declares that Obamacare “breaks its core promise” to make healthcare coverage affordable.

The report, “The Price of Obamacare’s Broken Promises,” was prepared by the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Majority Staff; Senate Committee on Finance, Minority Staff; and Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, Minority Staff.

“Studies and analyses from the Congressional Budget Office, independent actuaries, state insurance commissioners, health plans, benefit consultants, and others have reached the same conclusion: Obamacare will significantly increase premiums,” the congressional report states.

“Some estimates show some Americans facing startling premium increases of 203 percent because of the law.

Do not forget that John Boehner, Speaker of the House with a Republican controlled House, refuses to defund Obamacare and its' enforcement.

Do not forget, they will not fight when they have means available.

A grieving daughter has lodged a complaint against a hospital which left her father to die on a 'barbaric' end of life pathway for eight days without her permission.

Susan Phillips said her 69-year-old father Robert Goold was left to slowly deteriorate for more than a week on the controversial Liverpool Care Pathway.

The pensioner, who had dementia, got weaker and weaker as doctors took food, water and oxygen away from him but survived longer than they expected.

Addenbrooke's Hospital...yeah...they did the same to my dad...only he wasn't suffering from dementia...at least they gave him a morhene drip that he could work

Monthly premiums for private insurance went from $576 to $776 to $1130 in 15 months. I guess I should be grateful, however, as a friend of mine 5 years younger than I now pays $1250 a month for his.

Ours went from $668/mon to $1439 over a similar time period, all due to extra stuff Omaba care made them add to our high dectucible policy ($10,000 deductible).

That's $17, 268 dollars a year !! I can't really afford it anymore, though now I get to have pregnancy coverage ( past the age, I'm afraid), early drug/alcohol intervention treatment (mr rb and I neither drink, nor smoke), and a whole host of other coverages we neither want, nor can afford.

We have been served.

Thank you, Chief Justice Roberts. Your infamous ruling will bankrupt the USA and put rioters in the streets to protest this outrageous government takeover of the lives and fortunes of its citizens.

When it comes time to hand out justice, remember who voted for this: ALL DIMocRATs. No Republican did (although some RINOs did help get it to a vote in committee).

Anything Democrats say, it really means the opposite.

Affordable health care isn’t.

I lost my job. We're getting insurance through my wife's minimum wage job. Her entire annual salary is paying the $10k premium.

On top of that, coverage is 80/20 on medicine, so we're paying an additional $700/mo. for necessary meds.

Our grand total is over $20k/year.

If I was an illegal alien it would all be free.

But I can't complain. At least Zero hasn't had to cut back on his vacations.

Absolutely, these premium rate increases will collapse the system and chaos will ensue. The voters will demand that the government DO SOMETHING and the politicians will give them single payer government health care that will employ millions of permanent Democrat voters.

It's the greedy insurance companies, of course.

I guess they've just become exceptionally greedy lately.

I'm just grateful that Obama, with his business experience scooping ice cream for Baskin Robbins, will know what to do.

"If I was an illegal alien it would all be free."

And therein might be your solution if you can throw away all your values and upbringing - go to the emergency room, give an ID that you purchased on the street corner and a transient address - get free health care.

What happened to that 3,000% decrease in premiums that was going to result in folks getting a raise? (yes this is sarcasm).

“All part of the plan to have the feral government own everything and the peasants rent everything from them.”

TD!

I wonder how many people realize this Bury the middle class, exterminate jobs, lose homes. Turn these homes into Section 8 all over the US especially those that are ethnically or culturally challenged.
