An exhaustive study by three congressional committees delivers startling news about the dire effects of Obamacare: President Barack Obama’s signature legislation could increase health insurance premiums by over 200 percent and render insurance coverage unaffordable for millions of Americans.

Broadly, the new report declares that Obamacare “breaks its core promise” to make healthcare coverage affordable.

The report, “The Price of Obamacare’s Broken Promises,” was prepared by the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Majority Staff; Senate Committee on Finance, Minority Staff; and Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, Minority Staff.

“Studies and analyses from the Congressional Budget Office, independent actuaries, state insurance commissioners, health plans, benefit consultants, and others have reached the same conclusion: Obamacare will significantly increase premiums,” the congressional report states.

“Some estimates show some Americans facing startling premium increases of 203 percent because of the law.

The people who don't have any net worth get it for free.

The people who have positive net worth pay through the nose until they, too, have no net worth.

All part of the plan to have the feral government own everything and the peasants rent everything from them.

But don't you dare call it indentured slavery!

Clearly the Congressional Budget Office, independent actuaries, state insurance commissioners, health plans, and benefit consultants are all racist.

If we had a real Media this would not be on Newsmax, it would be front page on every paper and first story on the Alphabet channels.

Pelosi and the idiots who voted for this mess without reading it are only partially responsible, The Media grabs more than their share of the blame for hiding the facts.

This crap is going to break the bank and ruin health care.

Already Doctors are bailing out. New doctors will not be able to repay their loans and we will be getting Island Doctors coming in to replace them.

If enough claims are shown to be materially false, a government consumer protection agency would intervene on behalf of a consumer to protect them from the evil greedy corporation that sold them the bill of goods based on fraudulent claims.

Who can we call to protect us against ObamaCare as the fraudulent claims pile up?

And almost half the Republican US Senators voted yesterday for H.R. 933 (Department of Defense, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Full-Year Continuing Appropriations Act, 2013 that includes Obamacare funding.

...including my senator John Cornyn.

"Part of the plan to go to a single payer."

Absolutely, these premium rate increases will collapse the system and chaos will ensue. The voters will demand that the government DO SOMETHING and the politicians will give them single payer government health care that will employ millions of permanent Democrat voters.

Not unexpected. Law of supply and demand still applies. Declining supply of doctors (as is well documented) combined with increased demand WILL result in some combination of increased prices and shortages (rationing).

Anyone who thought differently was/is an idiot. Many of those who said differently were lying to take advantage of the idiots.

And yet I keep hearing (one was from a political studies major) who couldn’t wait for Obamacare to kick in so ‘she can afford health insurance...”

I just keep my mouth shut.

The only real good thing that will come from Obamacare will be that it comes into effect before next year’s mid-term elections.

A radically declining economy caused by spiraling Taxes and Health Insurance premiums just might be the thing to wake people up and give the Donkeys the boot.

Then again, it might not...

Come Lord Jesus take me home!

Anecdotal evidence ... mine ...
Monthly premiums for private insurance went from $576 to $776 to $1130 in 15 months. I guess I should be grateful, however, as a friend of mine 5 years younger than I now pays $1250 a month for his.

I will be eligible for Medicare in 18 months, if I live that long. I wonder if I will be one of the first ones to be denied care.

Anyone who bought into the affordable healthcare scam was an idiot beforehand, the kind of person liberals feed on.
