At a press conference today in Ramallah, President Barack Obama addressed the assembled journalists while standing under a Yasser Arafat banner:

"Hope everyone saw presser. If not there, it was notable that Obama and Abbas spoke from under a banner bearing pictures of Arafat and Abbas. Also another big banner was hanging on wall nearby with Abbas kind of superimposed on Arafat," the White House pool reporter notes.

Obama turned down an invite to talk to their congress, instead wanted to talk to university youth (radical groups). Compares this to his Cairo speech and invite to Muslim Brotherhood.

theory is..he is motivating them for civil unrest against current government...same pattern as Egypt.

I think they are shrewdly holding onto it in case they need to use it to prevent Obama from destroying Israel, I would do the same too if Obama was such a threat to my country.
