Ann Coulter and Louis Farrakhan: Pick your poison
The Birmingham News/AL.com ^ | 3/20/13 | JD Crowe

Posted on 03/20/2013 11:24:52 AM PDT by Bodleian_Girl

From an editorial at the Birmingham News:

"If you love free speech spiced with venom, young minds in Alabama have two different flavors to choose from this week.

This Friday, Ann Coulter will have an audience of Auburn students while Louis Farrakhan will be addressing students at Tuskegee University. Freedom of speech is a beautiful thing.

In my opinion, Coulter is just a shock jock carnival barker who will say anything for the attention. Not sure if she actually believes some of the bile she spews or not. Here are a couple nuggets from her resume:

On the 9/11 widows: "These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by griefparrazies. I have never seen people enjoying their husband's death so much."

(snip)

But Minister Farrakhan? The Nation of Islam leader is the real deal. Not much doubt about his thoughts on Jews:

"The Jews don't like Farrakhan, so they call me Hitler. Well, that's a good name. Hitler was a great man. He rose Germany up from the ashes."

Pick your poison: Abrasive Right Wing Carnie or Fiery Racist?"

Leave it to someone from Alabama to be ignorant enough to equate Anne Coulter with the racist and Jew-hating Louis Farrakhan.

They are both stylish, in their own way.

Ann has an IQ.

Calipso Louey would have to strain to out think an amoeba.

Nice try, B-ham “news” reporter...but you’re only a journalist, so we don’t expect much from you.

At least they are both honest about who they are.

No need to play the head of the MMM card to point out rabid antisemitism in the Democrat party from black leaders. Past presidential candidates including Jesse “Hymietown” Jackson and Al “Jew them down” Sharpton have made antisemitic statements publicly.

This lumping of Ann Coulter and Louis Farrakhan in the same breath is not surprising, considering the source. The Birmingham News is a publication of the Newhouse organization. 'Nuff said.

The articles quote of Coulter:

On the 9/11 widows: "These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by griefparrazies. I have never seen people enjoying their husband's death so much."

On all the 9/11 widows? Or was there some context? what was the context?

I wouldn’t invite either one over for dinner.

She was talking about 3 specific 911 widoes, who formed an anti-Bush protest group and went around trashing AmeriKKKa, much like Louie Farrakan.

In my opinion, J.D. Crowe is a not-the-sharpest-knife-in-the-drawer hack writer who substitutes uninformed venom and childish name calling for insightful commentary.

Not sure if he actually believes some of the bile he spews or not.

(See? It’s so easy that any imbecile can do it!)

“Leave it to someone from Alabama”

Apologize to the people of Alabama for your slander.

It seems that Tuskegee has forgotten its history, and that of its founder.

Booker T. Washington must be spinning in his grave; but, then again, he is no doubt regarded as an “Uncle Tom” by most contemporary black “leaders.”

Suppose the author is full of venom to make such a rational distinctions.

Moral equivalence in all it’s ignorance. Annie makes it easy to abandon her to the Rino/social Marxist wolves she feeds, though.

In the past I would go all over slaming her flase accuser. Not to much now.

Get educated on the State of B-Ham @SBPDL.com. The City where the Civil Rights marches started and is now the epitome of ruinous Black run metro.

Of course not. Ann you take out for dinner. Calypso Louis you don’t want in your house because he would case the joint for his friends.

Leave it to someone not from Alabama to miss the fact that Auburn and Tuskegee are about 20 miles apart, physically, yet both in the absolute middle of nowhere. Juxtaposing two large-mouthed anti-soulmates in such rare proximity seems an irresistible crime of opportunity.

Now if only Providence will deliver each speaker to the other’s venue...

Ever since Coulter pushed Romney and now fat boy from Jersey, I may like Farrakan better.

At least, he’s honest about what he is.
