Will the 2016 Presidential Election Be Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton?

Posted on 03/19/2013 10:31:43 AM PDT by ComtedeMaistre

There are strong indications that Jeb Bush will be a candidate in 2016:

http://todaynews.today.com/_news/2013/03/04/17179710-jeb-bush-i-wont-rule-out-2016-white-house-run-but-i-wont-declare-today?lite

It also well known that Hillary Clinton is preparing to run in 2016.

Did you know that there has been a Dole, Bush, or Clinton running for President or Vice-President (including primaries) since the year 1976, with the sole exception of the year 2012? That is a total of 9 Presidential elections - 1976, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, and 2008! If either Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton is a candidate in 2016, then America will have officially become a banana republic, and the property of 3 families.

Especially if their last name is "Bush."

Whether or not the last name is "Bush" only makes a difference in the electoral vote margin of defeat.

If thats the case then they may as well just run together on the same ticket.

Why the hell don’t we just declare a monarchy and do away with those expensive elections?

The money spent on campaigns is sort of like a tax. The money is distributed among the State Controlled Media, and the upside is that the people think they are helping their party.

That would spoil the ruse. They want to give us the illusion of choice.

I can’t believe the Bush family is paying people to post about Jeb on Freep.

Did you make the same prognostication leading up to the 2008 election?

It actually makes a lot of sense to go with Jeb Bush. We obviously don’t want to win. Look at the past two nominees. The fix is in.

Agree as long as this is who the elites want. You & I have absolutely no impact on who the nominees will be.

Bush and Clinton, just like the good old days at Mena Airport.

Good one. Don't forget Barry Seal.

“She doesn’t have to be. There aren’t enough votes to put a Republican in the White House now.’

Actually, with the exception of 2004, there have not been enough popular votes to put a Republican the White House since 1992 when George H.W. Bush lost to Bill Clinton. Remember Al Gore received 500,000 more popular votes nationally than George W. Bush in 2000. Had Ralph Nader not siphoned off enough liberal votes in Florida to give Bush those electoral votes, Gore would have been President in 2000. If Bush had lost in 2000, the likely Republican candidate would have been John McCain who almost certainly would not have been able to defeat President Gore for reelection. In 2008 it would have been Obama or Hillary against whatever Republican establishment candidate was put forward to be the sacrificial loser. Perhaps Romney.

Since 1992 the only election in which a Republican presidential candidate won the popular vote was 2004 when George W. Bush beat John Kerry by about 3 million votes.

Not really “versus,” perhaps more like flipping a coin.

I can write the “autopsy” report on that election right now.

Jeb Bush is the Heir Apparent to the Republican Nomination, the next in line and Mrs. Bill Clinton will be the Democrat nominee only if Hugobama dies before November 2016 or gets selected as Secretary General at the UN.

Karl Rove will be Jeb Bush’s campaign strategist.

So, Bush doesn’t stand a chance.

Well, ol’ Karl’s got that sweetheart contract that says he pockets a tidy percentage of the campaign funds whether his client wins or not, so it’s hard to figure out whose side the bastard’s actually on.

The old guard’s time is over. They may not realize it yet, but there are clear signs that we are moving on. People like Cruz, Rubio, and Jindal are the future. The road ahead will have lots of bumps. It always does, but the Bushes are part of yesterday.

It doesn’t matter. If hellary runs against anyone, she will win. Massive voter fraud that swept zero into his second term will prevail once again. Guaranteed.
