The soldiers would have quite a bit more respect for people, especially the old or infirm.
That is actually a great idea...Most would probably not last due to the management of that organization, but at least the public that loves and appreciates the sacrifices of our servicemembers, past and present, more than we can ever repay...
Would get more respect than a lot of others who work in government these days...
