An active-duty Marine who lost both his legs to an Improvised Explosive Device was humiliated by TSA agents after he was forced to remove his prosthetic legs and was then ordered to stand so agents could inspect his wheelchair for explosives.

When I worked for those jokers when the TSA first formed we were advised not have passengers remove their prostheses if possible so as not to humiliate them. Just search as best you can with a physical pat down, not like today's crotch grabbing. They have degraded into zero tolerance automatons. I blame TSA upper management for that.

I once had an old fellow in a wheelchair with an artificial leg. He had on a VFW hat and a Screaming Eagles pin I apologized to him before I searched him. He said he understood. In making conversation as I searched him I commented on his pin as in “101st Abrn?”. He replied yes and said “Houffalize” pointing at his prosthesis. I understood immediately. He did not have to remove his leg

This happened at Sky Harbor Airport, a very busy airport and one where other customers can see security. Everyone is too busy looking at their electronic toys, or zombified by drugs, fluoride, aluminum, compliance to the police state, you name it, to even have said anything or raised a ruckus? Every single person is so afraid of the goobt, they won’t protest?

They haven’t started renditioning every protestor yet, why are the dumbed-down sheeple so timid?

As a post script I eventually resigned when it became apparent that the organization was becoming a giant welfare to work program/security theater that was managed by threats and intimidation and were hiring some of the dumbest people I had ever seen.

Fleet Marine Force

Here’s a decent primer:

I don't know any TSA “agents”.

Sounds like they have a crap job, and crappy supervisors.
As I understand it, employee turnover is fairly high.
That's a good sign.

Frankly, when the SHTF, I am not going to align myself with “people who have absolutely nothing to lose”.

When I fight, I fight for something, and against the enemy.
I'd tell you to ask the USSR, but they don't exist anymore, do they?
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't allow you on my mop up crew, if you consider random low level, unarmed, government employees worthwhile targets.
Are you a union employee?

Thanks for the info.
Very interesting and should lead to an interesting conversation when I see him at graduation.

“I don’t have words to describe how I feel about this”

I can but I suspect the words would get me booted.

Asinine retort. You don’t know anything about circumstances and you spout off. How do you know I’m not fighting for anything? You ever had a gun or knife pulled on you? I have, multiple times, and walked away intact. My wife has endured several cancers, and tries to minimize radiation exposure. So she has to endure TSA patdowns at the airport. They’re scum. I do know several. One that lives nearby asked me if I thought I could take him. I didn’t answer. If the SHTF he may get his answer. They tell me that if someone complains at the checkpoint, they make it their policy to delay and give the subject a bad time - as I said, they’re scum and they get off on harassing citizens. All I’m saying, is patriots can choose the time and place for retaliation on our terms to maximize success. No need to resist against heavy odds on their turf. And BTW, I was a high-paid manager in the six figures, long retired now. I got along with the people I managed, even the union guys under me who sometimes threatened to blow my head off.

Poor, poor pitiful you!

From your disjointed reply, I am assured my opinion of you as a useless REMF was correct.
I don't care how many “figures” you once duped someone else into paying you for your services.

It's entirely probable that some seriously dangerous times are upon us.
You would not make the cut, in my unit.(If I had one)

Try to join a candy ass street gang in your local area.
May I suggest the Crips or the Bloods?

You’re the one to be pitied. I’ve listened to 90 pound women who think they can take down a man if threatened, but without any prep or training. Doesn’t cut it, and if the SHTF they would faint. A niece of mine, 95 pounds, could do it but she’s a Navy gal and has the training. You obviously don’t. And I never had the need to join a gang. Stayed out of them when young. A few of my neighbor friends in gangs died, and it wasn’t for me. I didn’t grow up in a lily-white suburb like you, but managed to survive in a not so nice city district. I’ve been jumped and beaten by black punks, while counting many among my friends. I can survive. You are supremely naive if you think you could survive what’s coming. So cut out the crap.

Obama, his filthy democrats, his media and the RINOs have ruined this once great country. I will never forgive them, never.

Don't forget Jimmy Carter and the Clintons (characterizations edited to prevent the comment from being pulled).

The brigadier in charge there at San Diego, if the one that was in charge when my nephew went thru the Depot is a class act...

He treated the families with the upmost humility and respect, and the morning before graduation he came out to do the final motovational run, he actually led the graduating company in that run...Later at morning colors he came out to meet the families of these new basic Marines and asked all of us Veterans to stand and be recognized...He came to each and every one of us and was glad we came to welcome a new group to the fold...

I’d go to war with that guy any day...

Sorry for the side story, but it was a great experience for me and my Dad to witness that special time in my Nephews life...

Back on track...

I have great confidence in the Marine in question that even with the loss of his legs, he is still a very dangerous person, in the right way...WalMart greeters are held in higher regard (to the TSA) as far as I am concerned...

If I had been there, I would have made a scene...You don’t [expletive deleted] with Veterans (of any branch of service) and get away with it...And believe me, I’ll go out looking for this type of stuff to happen...

That is actually a great idea...Most would probably not last due to the management of that organization, but at least the public that loves and appreciates the sacrifices of our servicemembers, past and present, more than we can ever repay...

Would get more respect than a lot of others who work in government these days...

Because every masculine quality, including "flipping the tables" in a righteous anger, is discouraged and derided by our society.

No, sorry, the whole TSA thing is sickening PLUS the losers who won’t lift a finger to help someone being so humiliated. I would, even if it meant I were put on their Stasi no-fly list.

I have a friend who works for the TSA out of the Tampa St. Petersburg airport in Fl. He says most of these employees are just plain idiots....
