RNC ELDERS DETERMINE CONSERVATIVE 'PURITY' COSTS GOP ELECTIONS
Breitbart.com ^ | 18 Mar 2013 | by MATTHEW BOYLE

The Republican National Committee’s internal evaluators argued that true conservatism loses the Republican Party elections in a new report released Monday. The evaluators were charged by chairman Reince Priebus with helping the GOP reach a larger voter base. A copy of their report was obtained by Breitbart News.

On page 54 of the report, authors Henry Barbour, Sally Bradshaw, Ari Fleischer, Zori Fonalledas and Glenn McCall argue that true conservatism hurts the Republican Party in elections. “Third-party groups that promote purity are hurting our electoral prospects,” they wrote.

That entire section was based on quotes from MSNBC host Joe Scarborough in a column the Wall Street Journal’s Peggy Noonan wrote last year.

The RINOs are waging war with the Tea Party.

Rand Paul and Ted Cruz have rattled their cages. No doubt the RINOs are working with the Leftists to maintain their precious status quo.

“We’re not here to rebrand a party. We’re here to rebuild a country.”-Sarah Palin at CPAC 3/16/2013

There’s the difference between the RINO RNC insiders and the conservative grassroots.

I still remember Rush Limbaugh joking about Democrats drinking Kool Aid.

Looks like Priebus and Company including Ari Fleischer, Haley Barbour and others are the ones handing out the Kool Aid nowadays.

In the next few days we’ll hear from all sorts of “conservatives” on gay marriage.

It’ll be brutal.

I’ve said in the recent past that the ballot box has become a worthless lost cause. This will put a capstone on it.

Yes, and Grover Norquist, Sulhil Khan,Al Cardenas and their hijacked tea party brand (teaparty.net) brew it at CPAC every year.

The only time I see or read about Priebus is if he shows up on a Sunday news show.

The man is completely useless and now he's relying on a report that uses Peggy Noonan & Joe Scarborough for input on why we lost the last two presidential elections?

they’ve just spent millions and surveys abotu reaching out to the base and then tell the base to move to a libertarian liberal agenda

If I want a liberal agenda I will vote for hte Dems
If I want a libertarian agenda wiht weaker defence, liberal socially then I’ll vote for that party.

If liberals and libertarians stuck to their own party then we don;t need to tell them to piss off

Look at the "authors" of the "report."

Not one even likes conservatives. I daresay, this "report" was written before the so-called nation wide, listening took place.

One place I know for a fact that this surveying did NOT occur was in Kansas, unless the RNC polled the 8 RINOs that lost their gigs in the "Clean Sweep," which cleaned the KS House and Senate of RINOs!

“true conservatism hurts the Republican Party in elections”

True conservatism is the only man left standing that has the guts to defeat the whack left! If you can’t stand the heat get the hell out of the kitchen!

The RNC ran “moderates” in the last two presidential races and lost to the most liberal candidate ever to run for POTUS and lost again in the worst economy since the Great Depression. They pandered to the moderates and even when Romney scored big time against Obama in the first debate they refused to let him keep punching in the subsequent debates least he disturb the moderates. The RINO leadership must go if the GOP is to survive.

Purity? According to Red State today McConnell told the crowd (at CPAC) that “Obamacare should be repealed root and branch.” He also told the crowd that those who think he’s given up the fight are wrong. He pledged to continue to fight.

The part of his speech that McConnell hopes you ignore is him saying, “When it came to Obamacare, we gave it everything we have, and we just lost.” He’s also signaling that the Senate Republicans will neither filibuster the continuing resolution nor shut down the government....

An example of Republican “purity”.

We should have seen the signals when the Berlin Wall fell and Geo. H.W. Bush, rushed out to claim "One World Order" was now the way of the future!

After he ran up the UN Flag at the White House, no wonder he lost, and it was more that than the "read my lips."

Lastly, conservatives don't forget lies to their face and backstabbing by climbing in bed with liberals to stick it to the base!

DemocRAT voters will stick with their guys and gals because they know they have NO standards for which to sell out and they're used to being lied to - look at their Black Plantation Voters, they've lied to them for decades yet those folk keep on believin' that they'll get a seat at the table and now believe it since the "One" was immaculate!

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way. - A Real Republican

The RNC elders do not like that their game is suddenly known to all and out in the open. It has been on full display for the last several years and it is this: destroy any conservative candidate for office and promote only our types. The examples are known to us all:

In 2004, we were told to support Specter, he’s a republican and we need that seat, they said. So Toomey lost the primary to Specter and the conservatives were told to rally around the republican candiate “for the good of the party.” Two years later, Rick Santorum was up for reelection. Long a thorn in the side of the powers that be, there was no talk of rallying to support Santorum “for the good of the party.” Six years later, Specter, up for reelection again is denied support by Jim DeMint and Specter immediatly becomes a democrat.

Lincoln Chafee, appointed to a senate seat by Moderate republican governor Jodi Rell, voted with the democrats on just about every issue and was glad the democrats took over the senate in 2006 and is now a democrat.

Charlie Crist, republican governor of Florida, lost a primary to Marco Rubio, now a democrat.

Dede Scozzafava, could not bring herself to support a conservative for congress so she supported the democrat.

Lisa Murkowski, lost her primary to Miller but did she rally around the republican for “the good of the party?” No, she ran as an idependent to save Alaska and the senate from a conservative.

Christine O’Donnell won the primary over Mike Castle fair and square, but did the party rally to her, no. She was derided, betrayed and destroyed.

In the 2012 presidential primaries, all stops were pulled to get their man, Mitt Romney, the nomination. And to that end, all rivals were to be bombarded, pummelled and destroyed, Bachmann, Cain, Perry, Gingrich, Santorum.

There are many more examples of the willfull undermining of conservatives by the establishment types. We must have a big tent, they say, but no conservatives must enter, and should they elbow their way in, they are to be ridiculed and marginalized, as Johnson, Paul, Rubio, Cruz, Lee, etc. are.

I don’t give a damn what the RNC thinks of our effort to elect “pure” conservatives. We’ve had enough of the game-playing schysters.
