Jewish Democrat Group Attacks Rand Paul
Daily Caller ^ | Jeff Poor

Posted on 03/17/2013 4:52:07 PM PDT by JohnPDuncan

In a statement released on Saturday evening, the National Jewish Democratic Council’s executive director, Aaron Keyak, stopped just short of declaring Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul anti-Semitic, and warned that American Jews should be alarmed that Paul won yesterday’s Conservative Political Action Conference presidential straw poll.

“Regardless of political affiliation, American Jews should be alarmed that the Republican Party’s core activists have selected Senator Rand Paul to be their preferred standard bearer for 2016,” Keyak said in a statement. “Senator Paul has called multiple times to cut and end American aid to Israel, and has refused to rule out a containment strategy vis-à-vis Iran. Paul’s misguided foreign policy views are nothing short of dangerous, and his growing legitimacy among the GOP’s base is only another reason why the vast majority of Jewish Americans consistently support the Democratic Party.”

Bullcrap. Any libertarian is about 0.01% as anti-semitic as your average Democrat, and US Jews seem to have no trouble with them.

Paul could well assemble himself a motley crew of misfits and the noble minded. It’s true he does want to cut international aid on a blanket basis (he isn’t singling out Israel). This would be a mixed bag for Israel, as being Washington’s pet has tempted Israel to not be as sharp as she could be. Ultimately when the Jews depended on gentiles they got reamed, every single time — allowing for Christianity being a different story, but America is losing its Christianity at a brisk clip today.

The foreign aid issue is the sore point, and quite understandably Democrats today think that to cut aid means to will disaster, with their vast subsidy-think.

National Jewish Democratic Council Mission Statement:

NJDC is the national voice for Jewish Democrats. Through its grassroots political network operating from coast-to-coast, NJDC plays a multi-dimensional role in the democratic process. As an organization advocating the;

separation of church and state,

strong U.S.-Israel relations and,

reproductive freedom,

NJDC educates candidates for public office, distributes voter guides to Jewish voters and advocates for our issues on Capitol Hill and in state capitals.

Reproductive Freedom?

Huckabee was correct when he compared the Holocaust to abortion—the killing of humans who represent an inconvenience.

The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) today demanded that former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee (R-AR) stop invoking the Holocaust to push his political agenda. NJDC Executive Director Aaron Keyak said:

That is mighty shortsighted of them if not absolutely cynical, to want to see the abortion door propped wide open like that. Euphemism or no euphemism.

I wonder if Rand Paul would, while easing back on direct Washington monetary subsidy, make a point of promising Israel a robust active military support “in case of emergency.” Give it room to grow mighty on its own under God’s hand, but certainly give specific support as may be needed.

Good points...the Cranston act is an example of how aid to Israel goes....on paper it shows the money is paid back...but isnt.

I live in S. Florida and its infested with Libs..Jew and non Jew but folks need to know there is a HUGE difference between Israelis and American Liberal Jews.

Ill be watching Paul...Im not sold yet.

he hasn’t been specific but what you propose is excellent. Moreover Paul is an advocate for getting rid of monies to third world holes like Egypt and their ilk

I can sort of see the point of paying bribes to warring factions to try to get them to pipe down... but when the warring stems from something that isn’t easily mollified by mammon or even cynically seeks to use it to increase the strife... as what is spiritually at the center of today’s rabidly radical Islam... then cutting the water off seems the wiser policy. As would an aggressive domestic energy program.

I’m Jewish and I hate liberal Jews. Actually I despise them. My next door neighbors belong to that group. They wonder why I want nothing to do with them after they told me Hussein was their man. I asked why and all they could say was Romney shipped jobs overseas. Huh? Obummer could be escorting them to the gas chamber and they’d still blame Romney and Palin. Jewish liberals are the definition of low information voter.

What about the non-Jewish white folk who vote for Hussein? What’s up with that?

You will see for yourself when Obama goes to Israel that they don’t like him.

Rand has said that the U.S should stop interfering in Israel’s internal affairs and that they should handle their own security without having to call the White House for “permission”.

This is why Israeli’s resent Washington and actually they support what Rand is saying. Rand visited Israel and spent a week there and was made to feel very welcome.

I think it’s because when many Jews hear the word “Christian” they see barbed wire. While they may be right historically, I resent my country being compared to Europe or the ME. Meanwhile, most of them say nothing about the threat from islamofascism.

Not really. Slowly but surely some liberal Jewish Americans are seeing the light, even among my leftist friends (I’m Jewish).

The Sequestration and tax raises (some they never heard about), are beginning to hit them just like everyone else.

I make sure that every time I get a phone call from the Democrats or liberal Jewish groups, I tell them that I can’t contribute because Obama is driving me into poverty.

Boy, you can feel the silence all the way to my house.

On election, day, I told one smartassed Democrat that I wouldn’t vote for an Democrat Commie Traitor ever. I think they are still in shock.

Look around at the local Tea Parties and you will see young Jewish people rising up in their ranks, including in daughter.

A lot of us are Jewish columnists and have been printed at Frontpagemagazine, AugustaFreePress (online when the editor wasn’t a “progressive”), FreeRepublic, Wall Street Journal, Wash. Times, Wash. Examiner, and in many other publications across the US and abroad.

We know who the enemy is, even if our religious brethern are too blind to see. Some of us learned our lessons from history, as all the European members of my grandmother’s family were executed or gassed in Lemberg, Belzec or Auschwitz.

We know what to look for and in Obama, we see it. He is evil and any Democrat who supports him, out of ignorance, greedy or ideology, is an enemy of America. Period.
