CARACAS Venezuela's government said on Wednesday it may not be possible to embalm the remains of late leader Hugo Chavez as planned because the process should have been started earlier.
Chavez died last week aged 58 after a two-year battle with cancer. His body has been on display in a glass-topped coffin at a grandiose military academy in the capital Caracas, where millions of people have filed past to pay homage.
The government had said it planned to embalm Chavez's remains "for eternity" in much the same way as was done with the remains of Soviet leaders Lenin and Stalin and communist Chinese leader Mao Zedong after they died.

Put him out in the sun .... sort of like making buffalo chips which are very durable and burn.

Get Jimmy Carter down there to say a few words for Hugo, Jimmy can’t shut up and it seems he’ll be here forever.

We have kind of a joke down here. They just need to kick the s**t out of him and then they can bury him in a matchbox.
In the meantime, please don’t desecrate my Twinkies.

Chavez needs to preserved just like the dinosaur puree he sells us - stick him underground, grind him up, and spit whatevers left into the engine of a 47 Chrysler. Then the real fun starts.

But it's summer and we're runnin' out of ice.

He could just be ground up and put into a variety of compost piles. Maybe he could do a final small bit of good.

Yep. Went to a Scouts fundraiser for my grandson’s Troop. Someone had donated a box of Twinkies for the auction so I decided to bid on them.
Various people around me were laughing about how stupid it was to be auctioning off Twinkies when you could “buy them in any grocery store off the shelf for less than $5.00 a box”. My eleven-year-old grandson leaned over and said that I shouldn’t try to explain anything to them because they “probably didn’t have a clue about the union antics”. He and I discuss lots of stuff when he’s over here and he loves to read the comments on FR. Bringing him up right!

Float Joe Kennedy right along side him.
