Too bad this was struck down.
It would be better for it to get more and more onerous for free people to live in NY so that more will leave for freer pastures.

The judge struck down the law because it was poorly written, he did not say "The state has no business regulating things like this!".
It's a step in the right direction but a small one.

Problem is, too many 32-oz drink-loving libs will infest other states. Nevada, Colorado, Oregon and Washington can attest to libs from CA who wanted to emplace their tentacles in fresh territory.

And yet, the HIV-disseminating, Syphilis-spreading, life-shortening, public health-threatening practice of homosexuals gets a complete pass.

Has Bloomberg already bought the 17 ounce measuring cups his restaurant inspectors were planning to use?

The regulations are "fraught with arbitrary and capricious consequences," the judge wrote.

I'm shocked. God bless you judge!

I guess the job will now fall to Sebelius to implement this federally as part of BaraqqiCare....

All kidding aside, many small business had already thrown away quite a bit of inventory to be in compliance with the new law. Small business’s have been hit hard by this.

Sounds like a case for a civil suit -
Bloomy did something outside his authority (as determined by the judge) which caused damages to individuals and entities, and they are entitled to recompense.
