The Chicago Roots of President Obama's Leadership Style
American Thinker ^ | March 11, 2013 | Michael Bargo Jr.

Speaker Boehner and the Republican House are frustrated that they can't get President Obama or Senate leader Reid to compromise with them.

-SNIP-

Chicago's Mayor Daley I gained absolute power by gaining absolute control over the budget.

Congress's authority to write a budget is determined not by a Home Rule Commission, but by the Constitution. But President Obama was able to cleverly subvert Congress's power of the purse this way: the Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate has not passed a budget in four years.

-SNIP-

In effect, Obama cleverly usurped congressional budget authority, with the added benefit of eliminating a budgetary paper trail. The real reason for this strategy is to weaken the legislative power of Congress, just as Mayor Daley I weakened the power of Chicago's City Council.v The fawning news media have not discussed this power-grab. Budgets reveal "who gets what," and Obama doesn't want the public to know the details.

-SNIP-

President Obama did not become president with the intention of ruling as an autocrat. It is more accurate to say that autocracy is the only style of political leadership he knows.

I question the comment that Obama " did not become president with the intention of ruling as an autocrat".

It's plain that he and his Chicago handlers had every intention of doing so.

This is an excellent article...I regret it had to be chopped up to be excerpted.

They’re missing an important point: Obama is a sock puppet with dozens of handlers. He’s not bright enough to do more than read a teleprompter.

The opposition has to negotiate with his unelected and unapproved handlers if they want to try to get anywhere with the dope.

You did get the part right about him being the Teleprompter President.

A good example being Meigs Field Airport in Chicago.

Daley, Jr. wanted to turn it into a park. Without approval from the FAA or the state, he turned the bulldozers loose on the runways in the middle of the night and dared anyone to do something about it afterwards.

I believe Obama did run for POTUSA so as to be an autocrat or some might say the first dictator in USA history. However, his grandiose attitude was enabled by such persons as Soros, Jarret, Axelrods, from the communist side and other USA citizens from the banking and entertainment side.

Every day Obama’s actions taunt the opposition. ‘Whacha gonna do about it?’
Watch what they do not what they say. To What manner of force will they resort? The Opposition needs a course of action to meet the ‘Progressives’.

I also got the other part right too . . . One good example is the part about him being a sock puppet . . . don't forget that Valerie Jerret, unelected and unconfirmed, didn't give Obamstupidass permission to get Bin Laden until the 4th time he asked her. Imagine . . . he had to get HER permission to kill the monster.

This jackwagon has so many strings pulling him that he can't do anything without unelected and unconfirmed people's permission.

From the article:

"President Obama is confined by this paradigm, because he has no understanding of, or inclination to engage in, the legislative process. He made a mistake when he assumed that the Republicans would panic at the sequestration of Defense Dept. spending. He assumed they would give in and not allow any of their defense lobbyists' programs to be cut."

My comment:

Obama is a sociopath and the only way to deal with such a person is to know that they will never, ever divert from their chosen path. So, the only way to deal with them is the very same way a police force and legal system does.

You act as a boulder in front of their plans. You make it really difficult for them to proceed.

A legal system and police force can work to place the individual in jail and try them for their crimes. But this is Obama, someone who has successfully surrounded himself with likeminded people and has used everything he can to thwart the legal process.

So, the Republicans are doing the correct thing by standing in his way, making it hard for him to proceed.

Obama is like a hellbent rock careening down a mountain path greased with progressives.

A nice huge boulder in his way is a good thing, because the time he spends trying to get around it is less time he has to do us harm.

Remember the Republicans in your daily prayers.

How does the author know? I haven't seen anything remotely connected to "Leadership" from Hussein; - thuggery, YES, leadership, NO!

There wasn't anything clever about it. Just a worn-down, bought-out, brain-dead electorate.

Before Obama’s first inauguration, Valerie Jarrett described him as being “ready to RULE” from day one.
