Good Lord! I have successfully avoided DC all of my adult life.
The traffic and grid lock bugged me 30 years ago.
I would like to see the Smithsonian.
Smithsonian(s) are worth seeing. You can see them all and walk The Mall in 3 days.
When we lived on The Hill we rode our bikes there very often. Except the Washington Monument, over rated and a pain in the arse to see.
