Skip to comments.House GOP Leaders: We Can Pass Gun Control, Immigration, Without Republican Support
Posted on 03/10/2013 2:39:04 PM PDT by Bratch
With more and more conservatives in the House rebelling against John Boehners increasingly questionable Speakership, Republican House leadership is now moving to quash in-house concerns by reaching across the aisle for support.
This is a declaration of war within the Republican ranks. And it should be deeply troubling to Republicans across the country, watching as the recently and controversially reminted House leadership continues to pursue the same political philosophy that led to a mini-rebellion in the House in January.

Hey pubbies! Ever wonder why I’m not answering my phone? “Reach across the aisle” for donations.
We know the so-called leadership are sell-outs on immigration, but what sort of gun control legislation do they plan to "work with Democrats" on?
I think Boehner and his gang are basically a bunch of cowards and backstabbers who want to get the illegal immigration issue out of the way so they won't have to deal with it year-after-year. To heck with what it means for the nation and elections of the future.
Let them do this and it will be the final nail in the coffin of this so-called party. Especially on the gun control issue.
The RINO-Dem Coalition is strong
If the RINOs want a war with conservatives maybe it's time they got one.
I do exactly the same thing. These dummies don’t realize that I have caller ID.
is there any doubt that we will have to defeat Repubicans before having a chance to defeat Rats?
But our “Force” is stronger than their “Farse”.
I’ve said it before.
The GOP leadership is not with us. They are democrat lite. They think this makes them appear reasonable to people on both sides, when in reality neither side wants them. Plus they have no MSM friends to spin what they’re doing favorably.
To hell with the GOP leadership. Let them all burn with all the democrats.
They purge out the conservatives, have their little black lists. Dead. To. Me.
The only way to get through to these lame-brains is to hit them hard in their home district.
I would suggest an advertising campaign to their constituents that essentially disavows them as Republicans, and says that they are betraying their home states as well as Republican ideals and their nation.
Done now, outside of election season, it will him them where they are not prepared to be hit.
It’s always been there, they are just finally publicly acknowledging it.
House Republicans need to remove Boner immediately.
If he remains, we will have open war in the streets.
we shall see, I sure hope so though
I think they’re BLUFFING. They have to know that they will ELIMINATED from politics in less than 2 years if they try that stunt against the country.
They aren't stupid and they aren't cowards. They WANT to give the illegal aliens citizenship. The want to dilute and neutralize the political power of conservatives so they don't have to deal with uppity Americans that demand liberty and prosperity year-after-year.
Just wanted to point out, again, that while the GOP is pulling this crap, there are plenty of freepers that will vote for them regardless and condemn/blame all the actual remaining conservatives that refuse to continuing empowering them.
Perhaps that should change.
Do we have 2 years left?
