John McCain needs to RETIRE?
March 9, 2013 | princess Leah

This week marked an earthquake of a seismic movement within the Republican ranks and the results has been mostly positive. However, as a result of Rand Paul standing up for our Constitutional rights, he shone the light around the Washington insiders and one man in particular looks exposed for all his political pride. That man is John McCain. He is an old, bitter white man who lost a Presidential election back in 08 and now sees his power slipping away and REFUSES to embrace and encourage THE RIGHT THING which is WHAT REPRESENTS AMERICAN PEOPLE.

So, is it time for John McCain to RETIRE? Or perhaps it may be time for Arizonians to RECALL HIM FOR GOOD. As an Arizonian I would be willing to help this cause as we could replace him with a much better candidate with a Republican Gov'r at the helm to appoint one.

I reference the Ulsterman Report as it brought out an excellent article called "Out with the Old And in with the New" as they so rightly point out how the "old guard" sat around a table with the president and pretend they are still relevant.

Hope is real for Republicans but not through the old guard of John McCain and his "buddies".

MvQweeg is slime.

Period.

The word is not “retire,” but “seppuku”.

Federal officeholders, i.e. congressmen and senators, cannot be recalled. Some state constitutions have provisions for impeachment or recall of senators, but a federal court case in 1967 in Idaho concerning Sen. Frank Church killed that off.

Bottom line: You can vote him out, or wait for him to resign or die.

I hope that, in 2016, Sen. McCain will retire and be replaced by Gov. Brewer. My parents live in Prescott, AZ, and my mom agrees with me.

That would require a certain amount of honor, which he does not possess.

Top dog of the good old boys doesn’t want to relinquish his power & perks. Term limits are so needed.

McCain has officially come out of the closet as Obama’s water boy. Disgusting old goat having dinner with Obama on the taxpayers’ dime while Rand Paul defends the US Constitution on the Senate floor.

I seem to remember that there was a recall effort that started getting traction back in 2001. If memory serves correctly, he was saved by 911.

Time to mount a new effort?

It is not fair to call McCain "slime" but he has outlived his usefulness. I was so bitter at him over "McCain/Finegold" I thought I could never forgive him and I still think it was a giant infringement on our constitutional right to do with our own money whatever we want.

He actually has been doing many things right since he lost the election but IF he can be replaced with someone better, by all means, it's time for him to go.

John McCain has lived a good life off the Govt. teat, and he could retire and continue to so so.

He should.

The Republican party need to take some exlax and divest themselves of the old waste in the body politics.

. . . Top dog of the good old boys doesn’t want to relinquish his power & perks. Term limits are so needed.. . .

In this circumstance, just a repeal of the 17th amendment would be helpful.

I would agree but my concern is that Gabby Gifford’s husband is prepping to be a contender here. He is a lib against guns but owns one himself. He has been in the commercial they say with her against guns to get face time recognition. We don’t need a spouse of a tragic shooting and a retired astronaut as his qualifications to be the new senator from here if McCain retires or is challenged. Mr. Gabby Giffords would win due to the sympathy votes in AZ.

He is an old, bitter white man

I don't care if he's old

I don't care if he's white or purple

I don't care if he's a man, a woman, or "other"

What matters to me is that he's corrupt, evil, possibly insane, and lacking in any moral compass whatsoever. He is utter slime.

Personally, I believe McLame and Goober owe the Honorable Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio, an apology on the US Senate Floor!

Then, they can both announce their retirements from the US Senate effective just as soon as a real American Patriot can be appointed by their respective State Legislatures!

Two RINO old establishment idiot problems solved!

Next, fire up the tea party movement, search for additional candidates who will actually serve America's values and live within their limitations placed on them in the US Const!!!!

Americans do not lose, do not give up, and never surrender their God given rights to this socialist government and its enablers!

He has said he won't run again. I can give him credit for coming out hard against holding a show trial for Osama's son-in-law in Manhattan. But that's all.

He's already been there far too long. I can't understand why he isn't off somewhere nice enjoying his family and his wife's money. How anyone could relish living in the beltway leper colony is beyond me. Maybe getting to rub elbows with Juan Williams and Alan Colmes gets him off.

He devoted a major portion of his life to doing the people's business. But over time like almost everyone, he was assimilated by the beltway culture and became one of them.

All in all he was better than most, but now it is time for the people of Arizona to retire him.

If he retired today it would be 13 years too late.
