"Ha! Silly American imperialist dog. North Korea is already EMP-proof, since they don't use electricity!"

And that is exactly why we should do it. Take out the military electronics without hurting the non-existent ifrastructure of the civilian population. Sure they would procure more, but it would take a lot of time to rebuild guidance and control systems for their missiles. We might have to EMP them annually, maybe make a new US holiday: NK EMP DAY

Or a temperature inversion on the day and it bounced off the thermal and got a twofer dead cat’n rice bounce..... My swag on that.

Happened with one of the Nevada Test Site blasts, didn't it? I vaguely recall Howard Hughes being concerned that one such sort of hurt business at his Las Vegas casinos, and called the then-president and told him to cut that stuff out if they wanted any more Hughes Aircraft air-to-air missiles.

Many many times ..... Used to do a 3000 pound demolition shot to destroy certain items for Uncle Sugar a few times a week and the thermals were a key consideration prior to fire in the hole call....

When we heard the audio of the OKC bombing we knew what the second boom was on that cool April morning at 0900 local was immediately. Billiard table flat land a thermal whacked that structure twice IMO.

But they let folks that fly a desk and a calculator make the decisions as to what and when versus those of us that know just how much C to shove up a bulls ass to blow his horns off without making his eyes water so ..... Our opinion is moot .....:o)

Btw ?.... Just read where Dr Paul Cooper retired . didn’t figure he would ever retire from the explosives application lab at Sandia. He has a book out that should be on your shelf.

He and Chris Cherry were / are the definitive subject matter experts in the field and flew a desk..... Aside from some IABTI working lunches I’m out of that business now. Just contract and consult now to pay the bills....:o)

Stay Safe Archy !

Thanks for the heads-up, and it shortly will be. Think I'll wait till I'm out in Wyoming full-time, one less thing to move. But I've got a neighbor taking mail for me there, so I should have it waiting for me. Thanks again, pal.

Saves having to wash the china plates, cups and saucers from the officers' mess, I guess....

Is North Korea the most pathetic county in the world?
