While their technology is backwoods, it doesn't take much to drop an NK fat boy over the dmz

Keep talking fatty. All those Aegis ships will shoot your crap down so fast you’ll be sweeping up fallout for weeks.

And China and Russia have never helped N. Korea get such missiles and would issue strong notes of protest in support of the US
if such missiles took out the western USA...

I’ve been saying for a while now that we need to EMP them before they can start world war 3

BTW, I STILL BELIEVE that these “nukes” are just a few thousand tons of urea based fertilizer that South Korea gave NK. South Korea has given them 1,000,000 tons in the last 10 years, nitrate and urea based.

If you look at the seismographic chart, it has two peaks to it, not one. It wasn’t a nuke but a huge chemical explosive detonated from two sides for maximum effect.

Don’t they have a problem in that none of their ICBMs are in hardened silos? They have to trot them out to a gantry above ground and fuel them up before launch. Perfect targets, I would suppose.

One successful (?) test of a TD-2 putting a lightweight payload in orbit does not make for a reliable weapons delivery system. Particularly with a very heavyweight payload such as a nuclear weapon.

Speaking of which... A couple of science experiments in caves do not make for a weapon. Something that can survive the rigors of launch, brief space flight, and re-entry and still function properly.

My take - they're a threat, a serious threat, but not an imminent one. If Kim said he was shooting a nuke at me tonight, I'd still go to bed as usual and sleep well.

We are mothballing two of our Aegis cruisers...none are now on station near NOK. We don’t have a chance of stopping a NOK missile right now. Maybe the Japanese might do it , but the NOK’s know that we are bluffing and so are they.

NK doesn’t have diddly squat in the way of nuclear
warheads OR missiles that pose a realistic threat.
Now whether or not China or Russia have staged some
of their stuff in NK is a different issue but North
Korea simply doesn’t pose a credible threat to anyone
other than South Korea and possibly Japan.

I don’t think they even have nukes. Why would they be detonating 1KiloTon PLUTONIUM NUKES when that in itself necessitates SUPERIOR technology (suitcase bomb nuke)? The whole thing is a bluff to see if Obama buys it and sends people over with money. That’s the only thing this fat turd cares about.

He’s out of money and he has military to feed. He would never let his own people work and develop the country because they’d stick him with a pitchfork the first chance they get.

He takes a lot of fertilizer that SK sent him 10 years ago, converts it to an explosive, and blows it up under a mountain. Ooooh, a BOMB! Then he suddenly has the power to condense it into ICBM warhead size and, without any test, fire one at us? He’s full of s***.

Let him dance his little dance, because soon he’ll be deposed by some general of his.

I am surprised that Obama hasn’t announced that our anti-missile capability to protect us from a North Korean nuke has been curtailed because of the budget sequester.

“It wasn’t a nuke but a huge chemical explosive”

usually we send a spy plane to pick up leaked isotopes, and the results are not published. Pretty sure from seismic results this was a nuke. Chemical explosives cannot be microsecond fast no matter how big. Look up Misty Picture or Minor Scale seismic profiles (kiloton conventional blasts).

Wonder what the message was from Obama that Rodman
delivered to N. Korea that they are shooting their mouth off with renewed bravado.

It was somewhat easier to sleep when adults with US military allegiances ran Washington...

Still, I have a similar disregard for the norks.

One device over Pyongyamstylestarvashistan or whatever would cool their jets for a few hundred years.
