(CNN) -- The U.N. Security Council unanimously passed tougher sanctions against North Korea Thursday targeting the secretive nation's nuclear program hours after Pyongyang threatened a possible "preemptive nuclear attack." "These sanctions will bite, and bite hard," U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice said after the vote.

Somebody, probably the Chinese, need to have a very brief chat with Kim Jong-Un, and explain that he is about to make a very big mistake. And that there will not be a 2nd chat.
When will the world learn? The North Korean thugs, just like the Serbs, have already done enough to be indicted as criminals. Put out an international warrant and let it be known that a little mercy will be shown to those who become “cooperating witnesses.” Soon the decrepit ship will sink and the rats will either jump or drown.
A sternly worded e-mail with some words even bold faced and underlined is almost ready to be sent.
I suspect the chat has already occured, hence the vote in the SC. What would be interesting to know now is whether or not the Chinese Defense Ministry is being told to dust off their plans for intervening in North Korea.
Something tells me they won’t get the hint till the warrant is backed up by some kind of no-knock situation...say of the JDAM variety?
She’s probably passing along State Department desires directing the Norks to ‘be aggressive’ in order to create a domestic news story used by the administration to scare and distract people. That’s basic procedure for these traitors.

Have to see what happens but it could just be staging, WWF style, in case they need an EMP before it’s publicly acknowledged that Iran has one to launch from Venezuela. The whole thing seems choreographed to me, but then I haven’t kept up with what the UN’s been doing. The UN has always been ineffective though, and UN action doesn’t equate to the US using nukes, as NK’s latest bluster intimated. The players involved in this kerfuffle are libs. I don’t know, it just seems choreographed to me.
