Glenn Beck: 'I've lost faith,' time to 'surrender'
WND ^ | March 6, 2013 | Joe Kovacs

Says dying America is 'gurgling, we've got our hand on the wound'

Glenn Beck acts out a scene of rescuing a dying America during his broadcast Tuesday, March 5, 2013.

Claiming that “America is hemorrhaging” and headed rapidly toward death, media giant Glenn Beck says he’s lost faith in many of the institutions that have made the U.S. such a great country, and it’s time to “surrender.”

“When the government says they can use drones and just kill us without a warrant or a trial, my gosh, America certainly is dead,” Beck said during his broadcast Tuesday night.

“I’ve lost faith in my government, I’ve lost faith in the media, in banking, the justice system, some of our big-city police departments … I think I just didn’t have faith in the DMV 15 years ago. Now I question everything. I don’t have faith in any of it.”

Can’t get enough Glenn Beck? WND has a complete section dedicated to his products in the WND Superstore.

But Beck said he realized he wasn’t “supposed to have faith in any of those things,” and proffered the tactic of surrender.

“I remember that surrender is an important way of winning. Surrender. You’re powerless over it. And you are. We’re powerless over anything that happens in Washington. And so what do you do? You try to make amends for the things that you’ve done wrong. You try to live differently. Take an inventory, and then you take control of the things you can and you work hardest on those.”

He continued: “Just as I don’t have faith in anything [I mentioned], my faith grows in my family, and in God. I raise my kids and make sure I’m listening as closely as

Snip from end of article:

As part of his clarion call, Beck urged parents to remove their children from government-run schools.

“I’m telling you to get your kids out of these schools. They’re indoctrination camps. They’re turning our kids against us. They’re turning our kids against all of the values that we ever held, they’re wounding them even further. There’s nothing more important than our kids. The concept that the individual is greater than the collective, and they are learning the exact opposite in school. Sadly, we have forgotten this.”

it’s time to “surrender.”

Apparently there were many who thought the same last November. I wasn't about to surrender then and I'm not about to surrender now.

“It's time to surrender”

No it is time to fight!!!Never give up, never quit. Read what George Washington had to say about our first conflict/fight for our very freedom.

“If all else fails, I will retreat up the valley of Virginia, plant my flag on the Blue Ridge, rally around the Scotch-Irish of that region, and make my last stand for liberty amongst a people who will never submit to tyranny whilst there is a man left to draw a trigger.”” George Washington, at Valley Forge.

What the Hell, are we going to cut and run??

Never!!

You should have read a number of Freepers who turned into liberals overnight after the election ready to get down on Odumbo. Bunch of pu**ies. People need to be reminded that less voters turned out for Klownie the Kenyan and we gained more on our side which was not enough. The country is still red AND blue.

Here are some links on the Walmart influence. I will be interested in your thoughts after reading them.

http://www.yolohub.com/economy/is-wal-mart-destroying-america-20-facts-about-wal-mart-that-will-absolutely-shock-you

http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/brooklyn/study-proves-walmart-super-stores-kill-local-small-businesses-article-1.140129

Someone told me Walmart had a pattern of overbuilding in a city, selling for less than they did in their other stores, forcing other businesses to fail, and even failing themselves, but then scooping up vacant property to sell. This surprised me, but then I check Google and found this at: www.walmartrealty.com

“Welcome To Walmart Realty

Walmart Realty, a division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., is a real estate company that offers many development opportunities nationwide. Walmart Realty concentrates on commercial real estate located in or around our current and former locations. Walmart Realty’s mission is to find businesses to open in our former stores and clubs and to locate in available property around our stores. At Walmart Realty, we believe we have a responsibility to work with communities to find a use that generates economic growth and opportunity. We work at the local level with local brokers, economic development officials and elected leaders to find partners that best suits the needs of each local community.”

Walmart is currently attempting to put 6 Walmarts into Washington, DC. This is a hot and growing market for real estate. So when their Walmarts destroy the neighboring businesses they can buy them up, and assembled with their own buildings which will be 2 to 4 stories, they will be able to combine these large blocs of land and pay politicians for rezoning to 10 story buildings and make much more than they do by selling cheap Chinese merchandise.

At another link which I posted earlier on this thread I believe I read that Costco has only 1/5th the wealth of Walmart. See the link below regarding Walmart influence on eduction. You may even agree with some of it. However, the point that I found most interesting was that although we may disagree with our government, we can influence it by voting and political action. But there is no control over private corporations if they control education.

Tens of millions of us live in cities where the left won’t even let Walmart build a grocery store, Walmart is forbidden to sell groceries in those cities, and you choose to join the left?

How can you people forbid us to shop at our favorite grocery store? How did you get the power over the market like that to simply not allow competition to even enter the market?

Did your power come from creating lies and rumors and attacking Walmart on every site?

But there is no control over private corporations if they control education.

Huh? It is astounding how my people have no true understanding of Capitalism.

For decades government at all levels have been relentlessly attacking the market system. Apparently they have you believing government "must" be involved in our education.

The answer lies with understanding what true Capitalism brings to a free people.

I suggest you read Milton Friedman book, Free to Choose It is a great read.

If overnight all government schooling ended, free people would develop programs and schools that would deliver vastly superior education over anything ANY government system currently offers.

Over a short period of time, people would quickly "learn" which schools offer quality education. People would vote with their dollars.

Competition for consumer dollars would drive all schools in the marketplace to continue to deliver quality, else they go out of business.

Government schools with their systems of tenure, union infestation, idiotic school boards and numerous other Statist garbage have absolutely NO pressure to deliver quality.

Idiots like Bush43 offered up another wasteful Statist solution-- no Child Left Behind.

Governments control 90% of our K-12 educational system. The progressive teachings have been infesting our citizens since the late 1800s.

The sole purpose of government schooling is to prevent the teaching of critical thinking skills and to put the utmost effort into brainwashing students into believing the the government is the source of all good and that obedience to government is the duty of all.

Any one who believes that government should have any role in education is a devout enemy of Liberty.

The headline is very misleading.

He continued: “Just as I don’t have faith in anything [I mentioned], my faith grows in my family, and in God....

And he's absolutely correct about this:

I’m telling you to get your kids out of these schools. They’re indoctrination camps. They’re turning our kids against us. They’re turning our kids against all of the values that we ever held, they’re wounding them even further. There’s nothing more important than our kids. In the wee hours of this morning’s Fox First show today, they finally mentioned the German family who fled from Germany because the government was about to take their six children from them. They are evangelical Christians who were homeschooling. By law, all German children must attend government schools.

The American Homeschool Defense Association helped them come to the USA, and they live on a farm in TN. Now the Obama Reich is deporting them back to Germany, at the same time they are releasing thousands of Mexican illegals who have raped, murdered, sold drugs and smuggled other illegals into the country.

What are YOU going to do about helping this Christian family stay in once-free America?

I think Beck has lost audience share. I remember when this guy was riding high on TV. I haven’t seen him in what, two years?

Beck's network has a paid subscriber base of 300,000 people, more than the typical nightly audience of MSNBC. Subscribers pay $10/month to watch "The Blaze" on their computer, smartphone, or on TV through Roku.

He has taken this money and re-invested it into creating his own broadcast network, with 100% original programming. "The Blaze" is now on Direct TV, right along with Fox.

He is now waging a campaign to get his network on cable. His network deserves it, since his audience is greater than many channels on cable. The providers are reluctant, since "we already have Fox."

Do you want another conservative cable network? I sure do. The competition won't hurt. But more importantly, Beck's network is oriented around the Constitution, not the RINOcracy.

He has done more for the conservative cause in the last four years than anyone, including Sarah Palin.

I still have it... somewhere.
