Where was the husband at the time his wife and in-laws were killed? How can you write a story like this and leave that out? If only to say “Authorities have not indicated the whereabouts of Mr. Freitas at the time of the killings.” Journalism 101 FAIL.
The local paper (Cody Enterprise) indicated that he was out of town on a worksite.
The father had recently had a heart attack. The daughter was home to take care of him. His wife was in the basement where she kept birds and was probably cleaning the bird cages which she did every morning.
The husband of the daughter? He works in Colorado and was there. Sorry. I misunderstood.
