An escort who appeared on a video claiming Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) paid her for sex has told Dominican Republic police that she was instead paid to make up the claims in a tape recording and has never met or seen the senator before, according to court documents and two people briefed on her claim.
The woman identified a lawyer who approached her and a friend to make the videotape, according to affidavits obtained by the Post. That man has in turn identified another lawyer who gave him a script for the tape and paid him to find women to fabricate the claims, the affidavits say.

so really who would want to take out old Menendez, that makes sense only if its another democrat who wants his seat because it does republicans no good, the seat is unwinnable anyway in NJ, has to be another Dem if its indeed a set up, which i find very hard to believe.
I think the hole is just getting deeper with Menendez covering old lies with new ones and this is going to be a disaster for him.
That pay off took a good bite out of the senator’s off-shore account.
But then it was all tax free money to begin with so that eases the pain somewhat.
Why did it take so long for these girls to ‘change their story’? Follow the money and you will find their sexcapades too. Where’s the proof that they were paid initially to lie against the senator? I hope this blows up in their corrupted faces.
I didn’t realize MENENDEZ was on the republicans HIT LIST. His vast power control against the right must have slipped under the radar.
I for one believe her. This time. After all he is a demonrat in good standing.

But what is not in question is Menendez got caught using campain $$$ to pay for his trips to the DR. And he had to pay back over $58K in airfare.
All for some underaged poontang.
Now that she has been paid off, her body will disappear forever, so that her story never changes again.

We’ll come to learn that she had the same heart condition as Brietbart.
It’s been raining shoes, but Menendez has to be protected at all costs.
If Christie were a Democrat and would appoint a Democrat if Menendez was forced out, Menendez would be long gone.
But Democrats and the LSM are going to pooh-pooh any illicit or illegal dealings Menendez has had because they don’t want to sacrifice that seat to a Republican.
It will be interesting to see how the Daily Caller responds to the WP story.
