Go to Google's Search page and you will notice on the bottom how Google is promoting Michelle Obama's Fireside Chat Hangout on Healthy Living.

What is your opinion of google using it's home page to promote the first Lady's Chat on Healthy Living? The Hangout feature is one recently introduced by Google where anyone can open their own hangout using a videocam to create an environment of people hanging out, chatting interacting.

So, while they are promoting Michelle's pet project o healthy living it is really about letting people know about its new Hangout feature.

What is your opinion of Google using it's search page to promote Michelle Obama's pet project?

Google as an organization is one that is hostile to conservative causes and one that promotes a left-wing,liberal agenda. The best example of this is their Google logo commemoration, that displays its logo in homage to holidays or historical events.

Not once have I ever seen a logo memorial that could be interpreted as conservative themed. For example, they never do war memorials such as December 7, or others that tend to be of an American war theme. I myself, find it very troubling using google. While on one hand they offer web services considered to be the best, yet ideologically, personally they are an anathema to me.

Are you really moving if you are in front of your computer screen with the First Uni Bang? I think not and I don’t use Google

Screw you Mooch! I’ve been much healthier since I started doing the opposite of gubmint health suggestions. I’ve increased my fat consumption and decreased my grain consumption. Weight problem solved! I render my own lard and avoid soy, HFCS, MSG, and hydrogenated oils like the plague. Stuff some arugula up your obama and quit preaching nutrition!

Come on, people, lighten up! Google is just exercising their First Amendment right to spew propaganda. If you don’t like it, just go somewhere else. There are lots of search engines out there.

Google, like any business “plays ball” with those in power to garner favors and regulations that favor their business.

I don’t like it but I understand the need to put their stockholders ahead of their politics (whatever it is).

Yes it’s very unfortunate.
Progressives control most all of the large internet entities.
Google/YouTube, Yahoo, Wikipedia, Facebook

Is this the same google that as soon as questions about obama’s citizenship status began to gain traction in mid July of 2007 systematically “disappeared” a quarter MILLION images of his alleged birth certificate?

That google?

Are the taxpayers paying for this promotion? One would have to think so.

Google is not the kind of place that Conservatives should frequent. Period!

Bluntly, I don’t give a sh!t what Google puts on their homepage.

Google can do whatever they want within the law. It’s their site. It’s called freedom. As a Conservative I support that.

Oh sure Google could celebrate US victories over Japan, Germany, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom, but that might be bad for Google's business ventures, namely Google.JP, Google.co.uk, etc. I'm pretty sure not all of these markets enjoy the fact that they were beaten by the US.

Whats a google? I strictly use startpage https. They claim not to “record” your info. Don’t need fancy pictures etc.

The best one I have found so far. And it does not save your search or computer information. It’s fast too.
