Every RINO needs to know that feeling in the next election cycle. We need conservatives.

Eventually people will understand that you can ‘work’ all you like. The GOP has an agenda and conservative values are no longer needed to implement it.

Work at a viable replacement or work to continue the GOP’s destruction of your values. Them’s the real choices.

What was out of context about it?

Here’s another stupid thing, why do we need debates between Republican candidates....all it does it to tear each of them down....it does the Democrats’ dirty work for them. Especially when they use moderators who are liberally biased, who are more than happy to do the Rats’ bidding.

They didn’t get off their butts in January, February, and March of last year and they allowed the establishment to nominate Romney

There's nothing I'm more ABSOLUTELY confident of than this assertion:

Gingrich or Santorum would have lost by at least 5 points more than Romney did.

The recriminations against Gov. Romney are understood and many are justified. Still, I cannot understand why so many on our side made decisions and took actions (or refused to act) in a way that handed the presidency to Obama for another 4 years.

I love my country and my children too much to allow that man to continue to willfully destroy our nation with socialism and endless corruptions of our culture.

Ronmey is what he is. Given the choice between him and Obama I would vote for Romney again, no question. Time is not on our side.

Thanks Mitt, hell of a thing to say now! You lost you jerk because you ran as everything except a conservative. You lost because you lacked a certain important part of the male anatomy necessary for drive, verve, and courage in war, and politics is war. That's why you lost you moron. And if the GOP intends on running fat-ass Christie we've lost already.

One of the last straws for me was when Romney was asked his opinion of the Chick-Fil-A protests. Obviously with his pro-homo history, I didn’t expect him to voice anything beyond a “support for people coming out to express their beliefs” or whatnot. Just like what one would expect from any typical slickster politician. But Romney didn’t even go that far! He stuttered out some pathetic “um, that’s not a part of my campaign” response.

As if there already hadn’t been a whole litany of deep-seated qualms I had about the guy, this fully demonstrated to me what a cowardly political weasel he was. Just epitomized the kind of loathesome politician I absolutely despise with every thread of my being.

You are so correct. Moderate Romney rarely crossed 30% in primaries was the eventual winner. Why? Because the more conservative candidates kept slashing each other. And no one wanted to drop out for the sake of unity. Bachmann attacked Cain. Newt attacked Santorum. Santorum attacked Newt. It was a circular firing squad.

2016 should be better. I am looking forward to substantive debates sans attacks from Rand Paul, Marco Rubio & whoever. .

Oh for crying out loud. “Didn’t connect with minority voters?”

If the game is to cheat - then cheat. Please stop these insufferable victim chants: blaming the media etc.

Get your guys in the polls to COUNT the votes. Bank votes with dead or newly registered voters in cities where you need them. If you are too good to play the game or refuse to effectively counter the corruption, stay home and complain.

So long as GOP keeps nominating stupid people, losses are guaranteed.

Stupidity does not guarantee loss.

Maxine Waters.
Sheila Jackson Lee.
Joe Biden.
Barack Obama.
Hank "Guam Flipper" Johnson...

Because some people would not actively cast their vote to empower a gay agenda pushing, abortion supporting gun banning liar. Or the party that give him a platform.

If that meant Obama won, then the GOP can claim that ‘victory’. Because their actions in nominating him assured it.

We have the obligation to vote for the candidate that best represents us. Some of us did.

Good luck with all that....There shouldn't even be debates..Candidates should win on their own merits, without tearing down the others. All debates do is to force candidates to attack the others, it is counter-productive.

Mr. Etch A Sketch screwed up an election that was the Republicants to lose.

He had a lot of help from a bunch of GOP-e idiots, not the least of which was the Pillsbury Dough Boy who had his election night meltdown, then cried all the way to the bank the next day.

I will repeat my context...

“First, third parties have a 200 year history of losing badly. You know the definition of insanity, right?”

There was a lot of bellyaching and crying over moderates but not enough grunt work was done to prevent them from picking Romney.

That was a pretty tall order, Romney has dominated and shaped the primaries for 7 years, spending 50 million dollars of his own many when needed, combining that with the power of the combined efforts of the GOP leadership, the Democrat party, and the media, supporting his fight against the conservatives, and you have a challenge that was just too big.

But Mitt never hung out with a garage band. And it shows.

I don't want a President who hung out with a garage band.I want a President who's *better* than me...*smarter* than me...*more* accomplished than me.The senior President Bush never hung out with a garage band, whereas "The Most Ethical President In History" (Trademark,Democrat National Committee) did.President Eisenhower *fought* the terrorists, both in uniform and after he had hung up his stars.Osama Obama was *schooled* by terrorists and proudly proclaims it (except,of course, for having claimed to have never met Bill Ayers or Bernadine Dohrn in his life).

They say that "when robbing Peter to pay Paul, one can always depend on Paul's cooperation".That's the secret to the Rat Party's success.Romney,OTOH,wanted to encourage Peter to fend for himself, something that 90% of the American people did 30 years ago...and about 40% do today.

I’m convinced Akin and Mourdock cost Romney about 2-3% - not enough to swing the election, but it would have been much closer had they kept their mouths shut.

And that was something completely beyond Romney’s control.

Much more of an influence than Sandy, IMHO.

Yup. and how is my statement out of context? You asked about the definition of insanity. Third parties lose because people vote for liars expecting to get the opposite of what their choice represents.

Again, how is that out of context?

The big flaw with Romney, was an over-reliance on consultants, the same as McCain.

A good candidate shouldn’t need consultants....Reagan sure didn’t need them.
