“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

…the other man’s conscience, I mean, not yours. For why should my Freedom be judged by anothers conscience? 1 Cor 10:29

What the Repubs in congress have to understand is no matter what is said about them by the Three Pillars of Propaganda, none of it translates into actual votes. They are being trashed by the media, the DNC and academia but the only way they will lose votes is if or when they cave. The Obots will never vote for them anyway, so to hold what they have and rebuild, they need to give their base a reason to believe, a reason to support them which means holding onto their dwindling principles.

It has been explained there is an unholy triad of academia, media and the DNC whose sole purpose is to promote their communist agenda to change America into a Soviet style Republic. The bad news is they have all the power although it has been falling since more and more understand their tactics as well as the failure of communism to perform. As this economy continues to fail and the attacks on the congress becomes more and more strident we will begin seeing cracks develop in the Pillars due to their lack of understanding of basic economics we have watched over that last four years.

In a second term there is a natural movement away from their chosen leaders as they need to reestablish a sense of objectivity when in reality they will be actually promoting their next liberal leader. In this case they will likely put some of the blame on Obamanomic mistakes such as healthcare not being single payor so they can promote Hilary as a more moderate leader. The media has to rebuild their credibility at some point after their slavish worship they have had for their messiah. If the sequester strategy doesn’t work or the American public actually remember the sequester was Obama’s idea when the media continued to paint the Repubs as being held hostage to the Tea Party, there will be some cracks begin to appear. People could actually remember the Repubs had a real budget which included targeted cuts and the messiah wanted tax hikes and military cuts. The media will never point out Obama’s was rejected 50-0 in the Senate, but people may remember? The Repubs finally caved to his sequester when he refused to send out the military paychecks.

If the Repubs want to actually be relevant to the American people they need to not budge on this and let the people find out their lives will work just fine without the minuscule cuts in programs. This is once again Ohbummer waving the bloody rag in an attempt to scare the American people into hating Repubs. He is in 24/7 campaign mode since anything else would require making actual decisions. It is much easier to be a bully with his corrupt media than to actually make any decisions slowing the growth of his utopian world order.

What the Repubs have to understand is no matter what is said about them or charges made, no votes have switched from Dem to Repub over this event. No matter what the outcome there will be no changing of minds or votes and all that will matter come election time is Getting Out our Votes. People have discounted everything that is said and have their own ideas which are not being reflected in polls or the current groupthink. What we are seeing from these polls is there is a common acceptance of the consensus thought and nobody is willing to go against that thought process. This has no relation to the way people will vote and their decision of voting will be determined weeks before the next election no matter what the current polls are saying. If the Stupid Party would dig in and show some leadership they would give people something to vote for rather than simply against. They are going to be accused of being evil anyway so they may as well give the Three Pillars a reason.

The primary reason we are losing elections is we don’t know how to get out the vote as well as the Dems do. They also know how to cheat better inside the cities since the ends justify the means, but they are beating us at getting out the vote. The ballot stuffing was simply miscalculated when Bush made it through and his recovery kept him in office. It isn’t a special message or brand, it is simply being able to motivate your base and make sure you physically are able to reach your voters and identify those who will vote for your candidates and make sure they do just that. Until you have the organization and manpower to increase your turnout in the 80-90% range there is no reason to complain about lost elections. If you don’t accomplish that, it has already been decided that your candidates are going to lose in the large elections.

What this means is all the Sequester arm flapping and doomsday rhetoric makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. None of those polls showing Americans blaming Repubs have any real affect on the next election since it will be long forgotten in a whirlwind sliming to be done by the Three Pillars weeks before the election. That is what you focus on and making sure you give your voters a reason to show up at the polls. This is where Romney failed and Obama succeeded by staying radical enough to get his people to believe they were stopping the evil rich guy from hurting the poor. Romney campaigned that he too would keep the evil rich from hurting the poor in the end and lost. He never gave people a reason to work on GOTV since he threw our principles out the window.

The Repubs have a chance at a do over. They are now in the spotlight and have a chance to stand strong against the upcoming onslaught. They need to proclaim this is a fight against all encompassing gummit and all of the control it represents. This is a fight to let the middle class keep more of their money and create jobs for those who want to work. This is a fight between free market capitalism and communism and if they do that they would give people a reason to vote for them in the next election. Or they can continue down the path of the Gutless Old Party and slip deeper into irrelevancy. The GOP needs to sequester the Sequester.

Pray for America

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

Good morning AB!. I see ABC, NBC, and CNN have Sperling on this morning. I guess obama didn’t like Woodward’s accusations. It will be interesting to see if they try to downplay his comments or try to destroy Woodward. Methinks both.

What would Sunday mornings be without the obligatory appearences of Linsey Graham and John McCain? Neither one has had an interesting thing to say in twenty years.

Nail, you just done met a great big ol' hammer.

(And that advice not only applies to the GOP, but every one of us.)

I like to broach the Sunday morning bray with lots of optimism and such but the “resurrection” of the Republican Party is an event that will only follow the massive failure of Demovik-imposed Marxism, and that will take time and food riots (and such) before it happens.

As for the Republicans fully engaging voters with a strong, unwavering, CONSERVATIVE political agenda and profile, it ain’t gonna happen. The Republicans are a liberal front group with most of its power residing in blue states and country clubs.

The conceit that Bolshevism can be “voted out” of power is one thing. To imagine that liberalism can be presented as the winning alternative is to imagine that the USA is 1970s Naples or some such. Look for the sorry-ass Republicans to nominate Alexander Karensky to run in 2016.

They’ve been trying to fully discredit Woodward this week, smearing him, suggesting he’ll be dead soon and then the TRUTH ABOUT HIM will come out, etc.

But if Woodwardgate has any legs, no matter what is said about Woodward himself it will be incumbent that other reporters come out of the closet with similar complaints, and risk their careers.

The Demoviks understand that the rougher they are with Woodward the less likely others will risk challenging the Orthodoxy. As they sully Woodward, the message gets through to Joe Blow: Big Brother is watching.

Unless/until the Republican Party/GOP becomes a real alternative to the leftist Dem Party, the Pubbies will continue to lose. Why vote for the Dem-wannabes or Dem-lites?

Every Sunday appearance of McChurian and Linda brings the Republicans yet another inch closer to Death Itself.

Esactly. And it leaves conservatives in a position of being fully disenfranchised from the workaday political and annual electoral processes. We are unrepresented.

Yep. I'm sure Woodward has a few more tricks up his sleeve, though. We'll see how this plays out in the long run.
