“I tend to think California is basically a lost cause (no offense intended towards CA-based FReepers) at the Presidential level.”

One thing I have noticed over the years about socialist, sooner or later, they [always] overreach at some point during their rein and the face mask slides off, the American people begin to see them for what they really are (socialist). Don't give up on Cali-fornication yet. Believe it or not, there are many conservative constitutionalists who work hard in their local governments to prevent these very socialist from power and just like so many States that have elected conservative governors and house and senates, Califonication locals are actually making in roads on their local governments. the seat of all government is local. Great post by the way!

I’m all for it - black conservatives, Asian conservatives, women conservatives.

Diversity is the enemy of conservatives because it is an undeniable truth that the Democrats can always out promise and out give your tax dollars to their “diverse” constituencies. Not that it is going to happen any time soon...But the best way to keep America more conservative is to cut off all 3rd world immigration for a decade and to enforce our Mexican border. Also keep out people who will stay here for good after getting here on a tourist visa. The visa system needs to be computerized with entry and exit data recorded.
We need a good Supreme Court ruling on the 14th Amendment that does away with this anchor baby bs where they are automatically US citizens. The anchor babies of 20 years ago are now voting age and they will vote Democrat

Legal and illegal immigrants are overwhelmingly from the 3rd world these days. When they get citizenship and vote they will vote Democrat and socialist by a 70% to 30% margin. Their anchor babies will do the same.
If I were the boss of America I would allow in all South African Boers who wished to immigrate plus Europeans that are vetted to be non-socialists. Since 1965 our legal immigration has been 90% from the 3rd world so this would make up for it, balance it out

Obama is America’s first 3rd world president and has naturally accelerated the third worldization of the United States. It’s not hard to see that we will devolve into a Brazil

Rename it the PubbieDem2 Party.

It keeps moving in a leftward direction.

Wonder why voters aren’t buying it? Maybe they want a real alternative, not a bunch of Dem-lites calling themselves an alternative.

Politics used to be about electing the best person for the job. The best person was the person who would get the most efficient and effective use out of the taxpayers hard-earned dollars.

When you vote for someone because “She looks like me!”, then they have no reason to be careful with tax money. They are being elected for who they are, and not what they will do. Their performance no longer matters.

How about diversifying the GOPe’s high-paid, ‘fundraising’, insider consultants and heads of external political fundraising organizations?

Enough with the doughboy, closeted, ugly white male, Bushie insiders soaking up the millions, misusing the conservative name, and defeating us from within.

This loser should just STFU.

There is no Conservative input whatsoever in the RINO-GOPe, and there will never be. It's a one-Party, Big-Government system we have, and taking MORE taxpayer dollars to hand out to parasites has NEVER worked, and has driven the USA to Bankruptcy, already.

Try cutting Obamaphones, and you lose the Black Vote? LOL

That 47% are over-burdening the system, and NO CUTS to Handouts is in the "Budget Cuts of The Sequester", whatsoever.

Rove’s choo-choo has gone around the bend as has the GOP-e.
They are now headlong into class and color warfare.
Our Constitution is NOT about minority status, or skin color, or class in life. It is about the INDIVIDUAL and as soon as we start treating everyone equally across all spectrum’s we can never be “American”. Once a single American gets special treatment not available to all Americans, the “individual” idea is tossed right out the window.
But I guess that is what the political parties want, to create “groups” and segregate America.

I think is was Star Parker who I remembered. Couldn’t believe she could lose after listening to her. I underestimated the empowering of laziness I think.

I'm not familiar with the Longbeach area, but with Parker getting 27% of the vote there, I'm guessing it's heavy on the gimme class. So sorry about that loss too.

Sarah was the only thing that kept McCain from being a laughingstock loser. What election did Cain lose?
