WY is real close to CO. No corp or individual Income Tax.

Better Senators and House congresscritter(s).

I don’t know where MAGPUL will end up, but I know here in my little East Texas town, we have two business parks expanding rapidly with multiple, massive facilities but no indication of who is moving in. A lot of businesses, not just firearms, are moving to Texas.

Bill Hoover doesn’t seem to understand that good businessmen take into account their costs when they make their decisions, and if a businessman says he’ll move his business, he’s already accounted for the cost of relocating.

Cheyenne WY is about 60 miles north of their current location.

I'd guess Wyoming. Its a stretch, but you can commute there from Denver, so it would allow employees to relocate more gradually.

Wow. Erie Colorado. Used to live at 760 Pierce until the market took a dive. Ever hear from Bonnie and the rest of the Martinez family?

First, there is no such thing as an “ex-Marine”.

I am loving the attitude of the folks at Magpul.

This company has got its priorities right. They are pretty fearless.

Now, they have suspended sales to law enforcement departments in ban states.

http://www.examiner.com/article/magpul-suspends-all-sales-to-law-enforcement-ban-states

Magpul gets a lot of money from these law enforcement sales, so this is not a painless move on their part. Now, if other major arms companies would do the same (threaten to move to gun friendly states and limit sales to those available to the general public), this might actually put pressure on these ban states to reconsider additional restrictions on firearms.

This turn of events is not fair to good law enforcement officers in these ban states. Individual patrol officers are not responsible for the failures of elected officials.
However, the gun laws are even worse for the general public.
So, Magpul is going to come up with a sales policy where individual police officers can buy their products if they affirm to uphold the all parts of the Constitution, especially the 2nd Amendment. Anything to discourage or possibly roll-back these unconstitutional laws from being made, would be a good thing. IMHO.

My guess will be Wyoming, but they would be treated like kings down here in Texas. I would love to get the commemorative “Lone Star State” edition of their magazines.

I’ve been telling those here that the Dems are going for all the marbles this time around. They believe they can get away with it & they don’t believe our side has the strength of will to stop them.

They are going after the shotguns, too. That tells me a lot about their real motives.

Slippery slope alert. Goodbye guns rights, hello FEMA “re-education” camps. The distance between the two is shorter than most want to believe. The people had better start deciding where they will draw the line, because too late to do so is getting closer. 6 months ago people thought I needed a tin foil hat. I suspect some of those are rethinking that.

We could give them a big welcome in Texas!

Happy Independence Day from your future state Magpul!

"I don't think Magpul is about to pull out," said Bill Hoover, 83, whose grandson AJ Boik was among the 12 killed in the theater shooting. "It's going to cost them a bundle of money."

Sure, all they have to do if they stay, is to quit making hi-cap mags.

No chance. We will stop them cold. The momentum for a ban died more than a month ago. If they keep this stuff up, they will have a very bad congressional election year in 2014. Since Obammy is not running for reelection most of his low information voters will stay home smoking dope, hoping to get lucky with their lotto cards.

They are being bold, because it is now or, probably, never.

But you are correct, it doesn’t take much to the free into the enslaved.

Looks like many of his empoyees are hispanic, if he moves they will follow.

I am confident this is not a threat and is a promise.

Please move to TX. You will be welcomed here and appreciated.
