It has all the outward trappings of another Arab Spring: tens of thousands of demonstrators, a permanent protesters' "camp", and megaphoned demands for the removal of another "dictator".
Yet the slogans that now ring out on the streets of Iraq each Friday are the voice of a community not best known for championing civil rights - be it for themselves or anyone else.
Instead, they are the disenfranchised members of Saddam Hussein's Sunni minority - the Muslim sect that enjoyed three decades of privileged status under his rule, and which spearheaded the long and bloody insurgency against British and American troops.

The way things are in the “land of the free”, I am expecting an Arab Spring right here at home anytime soon.
The gloves would be off on that one, all Christian restraint against taking life would be ended, too.

God used the heathen nations of Assyria and Babylon as instruments of judgement upon His people when they strayed from Him. After the rapture, a global Islamic caliphate could become a tool of the tribulation used by God upon those left behind who have failed to accept Jesus Christ as their savior.
That makes far more sense to me than the theory that the Catholic church is the Whore of Babylon. Islam (or some form of it) could easily become the world’s religion, since Islam proselytizes by deadly force, and those left behind will not have the conviction of the Holy Spirit to resist.
I have thought about the whore of Babylon being Islam. Could be. We shall see. Maybe not in my lifetime though.

Obama removed US Troops from Iraq to ensure Arab Spring. What is that really? The overthrow of governments to be replaced by radical Muslim terrorists.

I am 55 1/2. It could happen in my lifetime and it may not. No man knows the day or the hour. Not even the Son of Man.
It could happen tonite. No one knows what a day will bring. I am not going to lose my faith if it does not happen in my lifetime.
If the anti-christ, the son of perdition is revealed today, I will be ready to meet the Lord.
