When I looked into it 2 or 3 years ago, Los Angeles, New York city, San Diego, and many other cities, forbade Walmart supercenters.

The first time that I ran into a Walmart with vegetables was in New Mexico.

I just shop Weis and Food Lion where I live. There is a local Wal-Mart (not as big as the average outlet). I might check out produce prices there, if that store actually sells some.

I get plenty of healthy food at Walmart. They have large packages of fresh spinach, a great price on bulk brocolli, 10 lbs. of potatoes for $3.95, sweet potatoes on markdown at $.55/lb., competitive prices on bagged apples and bananas.

In the county seat, they put 96% lean ground beef on 1/3 off. (Not at my local branch, though, go figure.) My Mexican church ladies are hitting the sales on the parts of meat I don’t eat and those vegetables that I don’t know what they are, plus coupons on Mexican brands of pastry ... but Moooooochelle isn’t, so why doesn’t she just shut up.

If you really want to eat some genetically modified foods (GMO) which were created by Monsanto, a chemical company formerly run by Michael Taylor, now FDA employee of bambi then by all means shop at Wally.. you will be right in line for the d panels when the SHTF.
