House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner ruled out tax increases as a way to address the nation's deficit after talks with President Barack Obama on budget cuts set to take effect later on Friday.

"The discussion about revenue, in my view is over. It's about taking on the spending problem," Boehner said

Stop using their language, John. Raising TAXES is out of the question. Raising REVENUES through tax cuts or improving the econmomy, getting people off welfare, etc. is just fine.

PLUS....while a community organizer, oboma and his underground terrorist friend Bill Ayres were taught NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) , or covert hypnoses. They used in (practiced on) the public school kids in Chicago.
I know this because I bought a text book on it when I noticed oboma using certain words and phrases over and over deliberately. The author of the book mentioned he taught community activist at that time how to get past the school students analytical minds while in Chicago. oboma and ayers were deep into the public schools at the time.

To prove this post, watch for "agreeable" words like this (they open up the mind to suggestion) that people like :
A - advancement, appealing, authentic, aware, amazing...
B- bargain, because, breakthrough....
C - challenge, change, choice, comfortable....
D - deserve, discount, deliver, discovery....

These are all examples of words used with NLP. Subliminal suggestions change perception. Watch for "universal" words that people will be "open" to, and you'll find oboma using almost nothing but those kinds of words.

Mix NLP and Saul Alinski, and you've got evil personified. (This is also why liberals put pleasnt names on the vilest of passions. "Gay, choice, tolerance, public assistance, ......who could be "mean" with words like these?)

Instead of “raising revenue,” the proper term should be “raping taxpayers.”

Boehner is in what is, for him.. uncharted territory. Ultimately, he may still cave, but the fact he hasn’t yet is rather refreshing. Americans won’t punish the GOPers at the polls nearly as much as we may think. Instead, they tend to run to what they think is the winning team. If the GOPers actually get a win here (and yes, it IS a contest of wills), they’ll gain some measure of respect.

That pretty much says it was satirical...

Sure it did, most white Christians don't make over $20,000, if they did they would just waste the money on Guns and ammo.

Maybe the house will start exercising it's authority over the nation's purse strings.

This time for sure.

PS...once the analytical mind is open to suggestion, he starts sticking in the knife. Watch for this. Sweet, agreeable talk, then BAM! He bashes Republicans. Pleasant talk, and maybe a little more pleasant talk until people are relaxed, and then BAM again. He bashes the Republicans. Every BAM is going straight into the subconscious mind before the listener has a chance to block it. Their analytical mind has been lulled to sleep with all those agreeable words.

This good news is this - if you know he's doing it, you'll be on guard, so it won't work on you. If everyone were aware of this, it wouldn't work on anyone. In fact, the American people would be pi$$ed if they knew what he was doing to them!!!!

when we set up our Police to make money rather than enforce the law and protect public safety!/s

Too late motorcycle cops have one function, to raise revenue, like traffic cameras.

Ever been in a fake speed trap where practically every car was pulled over and ran by a JP where you were sized up and fined accordingly, or went to jail? Happened to me in 1957 just outside Chicago.

Good for him! Fer Pete’s sake, folks, I know you all hate him, but when he’s right, he’s right.

I think Boehner has been weak because, like Pope BXVI, he expected his underlings and his opponents to do the right thing and be ethical. BXVI learned that they don’t do this - and is dying with a broken heart. But maybe Boehner has learned something from his experience.

What, you don’t like people you don’t know reaching into your wallet for a little revenue? You don’t want to “pay a little more” to help the children? Why can’t you be willing to pay your fair share—> WHY /Sarc

Well imagine that institutionalized injustice on the same scale as the U.S. armed forces.

“Nice country there, shame if something were to happen to it!”

I imagine a few decades (or less) after such a system of the armed forces being an arm of revenue enhancement we would find that the U.S. was supplying the armed rebels/terrorists that we were using as the threat to extort more money from our “allies”.

The U.S. military as a government expenditure is completely justified on several fronts. One - it is one of the few enumerated and limited powers given to the Federal government that is a major source of expenditure. Two - it is one of the few things the Federal government actually does well. Three - the U.S. armed forces are the most well respected branch of government, and the most well respected military in the world. Four- they provide good value for the dollars spent; they create a peaceful world safe for the sale of American goods and services.

For myself I would rather continue defending Germany and Japan (and most of the rest of the world) allowing them to skimp on their own defense budgets. The world is safer when the predominance of armed might in the world is American.

We ae on the same wave length dreamer. The world really sucked for the Peons when Generals were rewarded for their conquests.

Is this actual fact, or are you just kidding around?

The biggest problem is that you have to ask about such things - if and when sanity returns to the government, obvious satire will once again be obvious satire, rather than a possibility. Though I'm sure it'll be presented as 'the Repatriations Act of 2013' in which it'd be a tax break for anyone who isn't a white male earning more than $30,000 and tax increases for everyone!

No kidding. And the Republic had signed it's own death warrant when it started letting Generals make their own money and pay their own men. Once soldiers were loyal to the Generals who ensured their pay (through unauthorized profitable wars) rather than to the Republic - it was soon to be OVER.

Of all the things we waste money on, the military isn't one of them. Sure a lot of things they do could be done cheaper because of corruption and the like, but honestly; we get (if you will pardon the pun) a lot of bang for the buck with the U.S. military.

Revenues can be raised without messing with the tax code. Fees, divestiture of assets, and cutting dead wood all result in increased revenues.

Hey, how about some props for Boehner, folks? He didn’t fold, and so the Assclown’s suggestion and the bill he signed is going to happen.

Taxpayers aren’t going to foot the bill for $85 billion in spending the next seven months. That is a good thing.

So the headline is about revenue rather than spending? When boehner is asked about taxes his answer should focus soley on spending and say nothing about taxes or revenues. Say the issue is spending. Say it over and over .... Don’t allow liberal reporters to maintain that the subject is taxes. Don’t play their game. The subject is spending. Even a schmuck like me could do a better job than boner.

Cutting the rate of spending. The federal budget will still increase from the previous year.

“...To progressives, those people are the real enemies. They cannot be bought...”

Not, not bought.

Coerced, threatened, extorted, regulated, administered, bullied, taxed, yes.

Bought, no.

It’s how these commie dirtbags have always operated.

“The discussion about revenue...is over”

I think it is. The sequester affects military and social programs equally. Military personel know that no matter how hard the Pubs fight their budget is getting cut by obama. The social programs are mostly used by Rat supporters. Why should the Pubs budge. They won't lose support.
