Stop using their language, John. Raising TAXES is out of the question. Raising REVENUES through tax cuts or improving the econmomy, getting people off welfare, etc. is just fine.

How about saying —

“We’re actually going to need additional cuts. We Republicans are leading the way, and we are taking the first steps by accepting necessary cuts in Defense. We are doing our part. We fully expect more cuts to be required in the future, and we expect Democrats to step up to that challenge, and take cuts in our massive entitlement programs.”

yes . hope boner doesn’t cave

If government doesn’t grow by the inflation rate then it IS a cut . so sequester is a great thing because this could be the first time ever government is cut.

Thank you Boehner for showing some backbone.
Keep at it! Do not cave in, do not "compromise" on this just to "get something passed".

Remember, "Raising U.S. Revenues" is a misnomer.
It means the U.S. Government gets more loot, which is taken from U.S. Citizens.

Boehner, the idiot, needs to stop talking about how HE won’t raise taxes and about how the President swore he’d be all in on spending cuts if he got the sequester bill he asked for. He got the bill, and the COUNTRY got no spending cuts this time around. He needs to portray obama as the LIAR he is.

The sequester could be a cut . Government needs to grow by the inflation rate to stay the same size . so if the inflation rate is 4% then a government growth in $ of 3% IS a cut. do you see that?

sequester is good. anything better than the 20% growth we’ve been having in gov is good

Tax icreases may or may not actually increase revenue. Tax cuts often lead to incrased revenue due to the resulting increase in the economy.
