Stacking the witness pool is nothing new to these asshats. I live in CT. It is very likely one particular father who has been running around after the shooting claiming a AWB would have saved his son. The other parents and families haven’t been running around looking for the nearest camera.
I know some who CANNOT tell you what a .22LR does in the body! They haven’t spoken a word since the embalming. Two of them were a young guy and a girl I knew as children, they were caught together while barely out of their teens by a woman who was convinced the girl had been running around with her husband and it is ninety nine percent certain she was right. The girl died that night on a lover’s lane and the boy died a couple of years later after spending those two years in bed in agony. Both died from being shot with a .22 revolver. I have known others who were victims of a .22 as well. One was found in his own car parked at a cemetery, he had been shot in the back of the head.
You know a lot people who have been killed with .22 caliber weapons.
If I were you I would steer clear of .22s.
Can’t steer clear, I grew up with them. If I could only own one weapon it would probably be my Marlin lever action .22, it’s basically the same thing Annie Oakley used. I don’t know of any other cartridge ever developed that covers such a broad range of uses so well at low cost as the .22 LR and the old Marlin 39A is still one of the finest .22 rifles ever made. Great accuracy, very reliable and fast. If the confederate army had had ten thousand of them with the kind of ammo available now we would have a Jefferson Davis monument instead of a Lincoln memorial.
