Bloomberg’s Josh Barro criticizes the James Madison Institute’s poll showing that 65 percent of Florida voters oppose implementing ObamaCare’s Medicaid expansion. Barrow is mostly wrong. But even when he’s right, he’s still wrong. Disclosure: I helped JMI formulate their poll questions.

Barro complains that JMI conducted a “push poll.” His first complaint is:

Maybe they shouldn’t have voted for him?

FL voters are brain-dead idiots.

They voted to re-elect Obama and one of the consequences was maintaining ObamaCare as law of the land.

They had the opportunity to chose a different path in November. Its a little late for them to criticize Gov. Rick Scott for doing what they wanted back then.

Well like I said in my tagline: He needed the ignorant to reelect him and he got them.

So Florida is not the exception. The fact is, that now we all have to pay the consequences

It is not just that they want to avoid state taxes, they want to import their liberal ideas down here too. I’d close the borders if it were in my power to do so.

A good example is one of our NE Florida politicians (fortunately not elected so far, a relo from NJ. His constant whinning includes: gun control, education crisis, environmental issues, and all forms of gender bias.

Well, aren't you special.

Guess what, you don't speak for ALL conservative patriotic Floridians who didn't vote for Obama or ObamaCare.....and have now been duped by Scott who campaigned against ObamaCare!

Yes.....many Floridians did not vote for Obama. And yes Rick Scott not only campaigned against ObamaCare....he used his non profit “Conservatives For Patients Rights” commercials on Fox News to start his governor campaign.

And.. the same people who are attacking Floridians here will be the same ones pushing Scott to be re elected....and will push him because he has an “R” next to his name.

That would be lovely if they did.

Growing up in the Deep South in the 1950s and 1960s, we never considered Florida to be a Southern state. We knew then that it was just a Yankee outpost. And it still is.
