GOP Senators Are Treading Carefully With Tea Party

Twice burned, Republicans are treading carefully around tea party groups as they pursue a Senate majority that slipped through their fingers in 2010 and 2012.

"You'd have to be an idiot not to prepare" for primary election challenges from the right, no matter the state, says Rob Jesmer, who was executive director of the GOP Senate campaign committee when flawed, conservative candidates captured primaries, only to lose winnable races in the fall.

At least they didn't make the mistake of blaming liberal GOP senators for any problems. /s

Sneaking around behind our backs isn’t “treading carefully”.

Why don’t we just run liberal Democrats against the present Democrats. That will do several things. First, it will get rid of the Conservative stigma. Secondly, it will be reaching across the aisle. Thirdly, WE WILL WIN.

If they continue, we need to bombard them with talk about “flawed establishment candidates”, like their last 2 pathetic presidential choices.

The establishment idiots lost every senate seat they could in 2012. We gained Deb Fischer, Cruz, and (arguably) Flake in AZ. Their guys won in VA, FL, And Wisconsin primaries, and they blew all three.

The tea party split their votes in the primary and lost to Akin.

This revisionist history is appalling.

I hope ol' Ted has the strength to withstand the vicious attacks he will encounter from the liberal media, the Democrats and his own party's leadership.

Actually, so far I’m very optimistic that he will do that—both be a shaker and stay immune to the WBD.

Gee Rob, just imagine how well they might have done with
the party BEHIND them instead of throwing up road blocks.

TEA TIME is COMING! GET WITH IT!

To borrow from Rush Limbaugh for those living Riolinda a Judas goat is used to lead US sheeples to the slaughter pen . The Republicans were given a chance to use a wedge issue to split up the democratic party and blew it.

Besides being unable to equate Obama’s socialist schemes particularly his energy policy. Which by the way was re-announced by the clown they just “consented” to be Secretary of State. Is running up the costs on everything and still is thus forcing those with limited incomes to go on the dole. BTW the angle here was to blame the system not the folks using it. Because they have to. But that wasn’t done. That failure is a signature of Rove’s past performances when with Bush. The demo-coms took that 47% and twisted that failure to tie it to administration policy because it fell into “heartless Republicans”.
Blaming Obama and explaining that policy in terms those proverbial LIV’s could understand wasn’t even considered. Refusing to attack Obama was based on MSM polling showing his popularity suggesting an intellectual inability by Rove and the GOPES to rejoin any racial charge.

....Does anybody remember what the Democrats did at their convention ??? First they eliminated any mention of the word GOD...and when they thought twice about doing that they reintroduced the resolution what happened ? They booed God....That resolution was rammed through just like the Affordable Health Care Act ...

Was that fact used in any of the material Rove’s RINOS spewed forth during the 2012 Romney or US senate races his group of GOPES (Government Ofthe People Elite Snobs) used on their hit list ? I like using that acronym because it rhymes with dopes.

Noooo ! They could have used that episode to point out how far to the left the democrat party has hyphenated into; Demo-Coms ...Instead well we don’t like Aikin ...He said what ? OMG OMG he’s unqualified ...If there was a chance he would have been burned at the stake by Rove’s RINOS and the so called “conservative “ talkies spouting Rove’s tripe.

Why ? What drove this ? They were responding to the miss-direction driven by Obama’s instuments of oppression Mainline Socialist Media (MSM).The Aikin or O’Donnells response to a set up phoney issue had nothing to do with any thing that would ever occur in any legislation that would pass their respective desks had they been elected.

THE RESPONSE YOU DIDN’T HEAR WAS THIS “”While at their convention the Democrats were busy denying God . Aikin believes in something like the ten commandments. Including Thou shalt not steal and doesn’t believe that getting elected to office gives you a license to do steal ... Which his opponent seems to have done rather well since being in office. The same thing with Mourdock,O’Donnnell, etc, etc, etc.

That presentation could have been expanded to Reid, Pelosi, and the slew of Demo-Com pigs at the trough. Expanding their personal wealth at the expense of the US taxpayers.

Now his bunch seems to be saying if you hold a religious view don’t run for office... We’re gonna save the Republican party ....to be finished off by Obama and the hypenated democrats..
Roves RINOS wrong for America and wrong for the Republican party...

“The establishment idiots lost every senate seat they could in 2012. We gained Deb Fischer, Cruz, and (arguably) Flake in AZ. Their guys won in VA, FL, And Wisconsin primaries, and they blew all three.”

It is your revisionist history that is appaling. Romney carried red states Nebraska, Texas and Arizona easily and lost swing states VA, FL and blue state WI.

Romney also won Indiana by 15 points which tea party favorite Mourdock lost by 5.

Lets see far right conservatives win in blue or swing states and I’ll be more in favor of their candidacies.

But no, tea party only wants to win in deep red states because they can’t win anywhere else.

Stick a fork in Graham, Cochran, and Johanns. We’re kickin’ these a&&holes out of office. Perhaps it’s time to throw McConnel overboard as well. Taxby’s seat is virtually guaranteed to us, likely going to Broun. I smell tea brewing.

The GOP is dying.. in some places dead..
Republicans are backing of the room backways because of “the ELEPHANT”..
There is indeed an elephant in the room, that STINKS...

Many republicans have been blind but it seems many have been healed of blindness..
Those with clothes pins on their noses must surely be RINOs..
Those without clothes pins are obviously MOLES....

GOP has come to mean Givernment Ossification Party..
To wit; Republicans are now, merely SHY democrats..
Republicans have bent over and are assuming “the POSITION”..
