I know many here are fans of British TV and of ‘Britcoms’, and I am not sure whether The Good Life is one of the loved Britcoms, but I thought I would post the sad news of Briers’s death in case it was.
Watership Down is a wonderful film and I recommend it. And the original Richard Adams book.
It was called “The Good Neighbors” in America - and was vastly popular. My brother still has a thing for Felicity Kendal (Barbara).
As a long-time fan of the Britcoms, I remember Briers fondly. I wasn’t aware he was on “Doctor Who” at one time.
And I remember “The Good Life”, too. Especially his co-star, Felicity “Rear Of The Year” Kendall... ;)
I just watched an old episode of “the good life” last night.
RIP
One of the few books I ever read twice. About 40 yrs ago.
