Obama, Netanyahu: Hour phone call Tuesday night; White House denies snub
By Lynn Sweet on September 11, 2012 8:18 PM |
President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed Iran and other issues in a hour-long phone call on Tuesday night, the White House announced--along with a statement that Netanyahu, contrary to news reports, never asked for a meeting with the president.
During the second debate, he said:
OBAMA: So as soon as we found out that the Benghazi consulate was being overrun, I was on the phone with my national security team, and I gave them three instructions. Number one, beef up our security and and and procedures not just in Libya but every embassy and consulate in the region. Number two, investigate exactly what happened, regardless of where the facts lead us, to make sure that folks are held accountable and it doesnt happen again. And number three, we are going to find out who did this, and we are going to hunt them down, because one of the things that Ive said throughout my presidency is when folks mess with Americans, we go after them.
This was just prior to the exchange 'get the transcript Candy'.

Good catch on the supposed phone call ‘with his national security team’!
He was derelict in his duty and then lied about it. Impeachable offense.
