Who is crazy enough to savor hot coffee in a Styrofoam cup? You have to be brain dead or maybe this how you got this way. Doing it every day.
Styrofoam holds the heat. Once you buy your coffee at a bodega or sidewalk cart, you then have to schlep 2 or 3 blocks to your place of work, wait for crowded elevators, walk down a corridor before you get to your desk. Styrofoam helps.
Personally, I’d like to see the return of the iconic blue Greek coffee shop cup - a symbol of NYC.
Does anybody else have a problem with the new Metrocard? Mine is green and black. I thought the yellow and blue was fabulous!
