CNN Absurdly Asks If Rubio's Sip of Water Was 'Career-Ender'
NewsBusters ^

<> On Wednesday's The Situation Room, host Wolf Blitzer absurdly wondered if Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) pausing his State of the Union response for a drink of water would "break" his career. The CNN chyron flashed "Career-ender?"

"So can a drink of water make or break a political career?" Blitzer asked. "A U.S. Senator, possible presidential candidate. We're going to find out, whether he likes it or not." [Video below the break. Audio here.]

That is because the battle is not between Republicans and Democrats, its between Progressive Marxists and Free Americans.

The GOPe IS the same team as the Democraps.

This is not a football game to capture the House or Senate, it is a battle for the survival of the Nation.

And the rightious are loosing.

"All the Republicans should hold a press conference and just sip water...."

.... Yup .... that's how it's done .... it's time to start working together as a team.

....Could you imagine the free publicity and press response LOL We need to start using things to our advantage instead of recoiling back into the shadows every time there's a bad press report.

“.... If I was Rubio (Which I obviously am not) .... I would mock the media and actually make a drink of water from a bottle .... my trade mark.”

A terrific idea.

57 states, corpseman, “stand up, Chuck,” “I did not have sexual relations with that woman,” “what difference does it make,” running gay prostitutes from your apartment, leaving a woman to drown in your car, being in the Klan, having sex with underage pages, and these are Dem leaders... but Dan Quayle misspelled potato, and Marco Rubio sipped water, making them unfit for office. The corrupt media will turn the sip into the gaffe of the century, and there is not ONE Republican in Congress who has the spine to stand up and call them out.

I think “Drink Water, not MSM Koolaid” would be a good campaign slogan.

In the mind of a socialist, that (a drink of water) is all that is required to attack the competancy of a non-socialist.

Any Republican that gets on TV should bring up the real career enders like Benghazi. Turn the conversation around to what BO is doing every, single time. They are too stupid to figure out this most basic way to turn things around when they get the chance.

Well, since Rubes thinks that Rove's Conservative Victory organization is just peachy, maybe Karl will come to Marco's defense like he did Bushes.

Wait, never mind...

Rubio takes a sip of water. Career ender! Career ender!

Ah yes, the ubiquitous Wolf Blitzer. Years ago there was a faint glimmer of hope for Wolf. Pressured as he must have been to toe the line, he was asked about the 83% of CNN personnel who said they voted for President Obama. Wolf paused and averred that it certainly was cause for some reflection.

Today the power of the MSM is only too well known to us here at Free Republic. The MSM has discovered a weapon and it is to inflict on the general public a perverted view. One so called "gaffe" and they can finish a man or woman. Simply they tell the public this and many of them fall for it.

Deep in the bowels of hell, one Saul Alinsky chuckles. A German fellow called Goebbels, possibly applauds. Dare I say that the good saints in heaven must be aghast!

Excuse the ramble.

Obama snorts cocaine. No big deal. Rubio drinks water. Career ender. Even Lewis Carroll would be confused today.
