They needed to ask? Of course it can.

My grandad used to prune trees with his L.C. Smith shotgun. He used it to get the high limbs.

Funny how leftist gun-grabber H'wood types always have access to serious military hardware and banned weapons.

I'd LOVE to see a California prosecutor go after a studio for breaking CA gun law. Of course, I'm sure there is a clause in that law allowing the "entertainment industry" to have anything on the ban list.

Buddie of mine has a ranch not far from here and when we were young we used to sit on a tank dam and shoot turtles. There was an old willow that had a big branch (12 to 14 inches) hanging over the water that we’d shoot at with our 22 pistols, always at the same area. It took us about 3 years before we’d damaged it enough that it came down when a whirlwind came through and we happen to be there when it happen.
