How’s this for a State of the Union primer: Valerie Jarrett, President Obama’s closest adviser, attributed the gridlock and struggles of the last four years to a lack of patriotism among congressional Republicans.
“The president has always reached out, he’s always looked for balanced solutions,” Jarrett said today on Morning Joe. “I think part of our frustration in the first four years is oftentimes seeing Republicans put their short term political interests ahead of what’s in the best interest of the country.”
National Journal’s Ron Fournier reported that the White House was “stung by the coverage of the inaugural address” and would seek a less partisan tone during the State of the Union speech. Jarrett’s comments suggest that, even when the White House team is making an effort to be less partisan, they just can’t help themselves.

We’re not the ones trying to change the Constitution to remove the ability to protest, inhibit free speech, building massive spy centers to spy on American citizens instead of foreign enemies, remove guns from the people, create armies that will fire on civilians, use dones to kill civilians, implant RFiD chips into people, tax and regulate people to death, push for women to on the front lines in combat, and install Muslim terrorists into our government to take over the nation, push for allowing gays to be in the Boy Scouts, and running the most untransparent and corrupt government that has ever existed, YOU NITWIT...0bama doesn’t even understand the concept of American Patriotism.
I find nothing in common with the ‘Progressive’ ideals. This ‘Change’ in the America I have known and loved has changed this country into a nation I do not recognize nor wish to defend or support.
Conservative’s relationship to our culture is like a member of a foreign legion who fights for a city for which he is no longer a citizen.
Plato’s Republic links city and soul. The decline of souls and regimes are linked together. We have Extreme Democracy which will lead to tyranny. Force always becomes necessary for cooperation of independent spirited individuals.
The problem isn’t all with the politicians. Those that vote for the largess of US treasury are outnumbering us.
