Olympic Arms to New York State – Take Your Business Elsewhere
Ammo Land ^ | Feb 12, 2013 | Ammo Land Staff

Olympia, WA --(Ammoland.com)- Olympic Arms is a staunch believer in and defender of the Constitution of the United States, and with special attention paid to the Bill of Rights that succinctly enumerates the security of our Divinely given Rights.

One of those Rights is that to Keep and Bear Arms.

Legislation recently passed in the State of New York outlaws the AR15 and many other firearms, and will make it illegal for the good and free citizens of New York to own a large selection of legal and safe firearms and magazines.

We feel as though the passage of this legislation exceeds the authority granted to the government of New York by its citizens, and violates the Constitution of the United States, ignoring such SCOTUS rulings as District of Columbia v. Heller – 554, U.S. 570 of 2008, McDonald v. Chicago – 561 U.S. 3025 of 2010, and specifically the case of United States v. Miller – 307 U.S. 174 of 1939.

Due the passing of this legislation, Olympic Arms would like to announce that the State of New York, any Law Enforcement Departments, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders within the State of New York, or any New York State government entity or employee of such an entity – will no longer be served as customers.

Olympic Arms rocks! Lifetime guarantee on their AR’s, also.
Check other manufacturers...most are 3 yrs. or less.

I have stated on a couple of threads....I believe NY will be “the first shot” we have all been anticipating.

Then all heck breaks loose from there.

That’s the one reason I could support a Ron Paul as President. He’d pare all this back and it would be nice to see Congress scrambling to rationalize a lot of the Constitutional deadwood departments littering the Executive Branch.

That said, I’d be just as delighted to watch Congress keep him in line on a lot of other issues because he’s a nut. ;-]

“...Smart enough to paraphrase some historical greats is about it I think...”

Like all commie thugs, Mao, Che, and their kind were good at terrorizing those inclined towards being terrorized, butchering and assassinating innocent civilians who couldn’t shoot back.

But hey, other than that, they were swell guys...why, just ask any college professor.

“So... what happens if companies refused to sell weapons and ammo to the cops??”

Foreign companies will.

Let’s throw the federal agencies like DHS into this cesspool.

If you’re going to do the math go ahead and finish it. We magnificently armed Americans own enough ammo to stitch every DHS employee up, down and sideways, wall-to-wall and still have enough left over to stitch any other Alphabet agents who want a piece of the action just as thoroughly. I’ve lost count but I expect the entire Federal payroll is around 3 million warm bodies. There’s enough ammo in my home county to solve any problem that might come up along those lines. It’s no contest. There’s other stuff to worry about.

“It is always rewarding when people of Conscience and Character take a principled stand.”

Especially when in doing so, it might hurt their bottom line short term. Many did that with the large Sportsmen show in Harrisburg PA, and the British firm (Reed Exhibitions) that banned sale of AR15s, etc that ran it had to cancel because of a rebellion that began initially by small vendors and customers and then spread to bigger vendors and NRA. The politicians need to learn that their efforts at catering the whims of urban elite will cost them.

It can’t be denied that Mao was very charismatic. He had a hell of a rap about the beautiful future in store for China. His speeches were loaded with Hope and Change rhetoric.

“...It can’t be denied that Mao was very charismatic....”

No doubt whatsoever. Most of those guys ARE. It’s how they get people to follow them.

Look at Hitler. Same thing. He knew what his people were pissed off about, and he worked it.

History is full of them. We have one now - stumblebum that he is, he still reaches the stupid, the vapid, and the moronic.

Incidentally...if you ever want to read an amazing book about what Mao and his fun crew was doing in China, find a copy of “East To Freedom”, by Arlene Fukai.

It’s an old book from the late 50’s. She lived there and managed to escape the murder and slaughter.

Eye-opening story of what happens in a Worker’s Socialist Paradise when socialists get control.

Ok, when will some Natural Gas Supply / Infrastructure Companies do the same since Andrew the Arrogant will not allow Fracking in NY...

I heard a great line on Bill Bennett yesterday, Because of the Anti-Fracking mentality in NY, the dividing line between PA and NY is like the Berlin Wall, with Prosperity on One Side and Poverty on the other Germany w/ NY being E.G.....

Good for Olympic, but do they really sell a lot of AR’s to NY LEO’s?
Olympic is a pretty low end AR.

Every firearms manufacturer in NY should relocate to Texas.
