From what I have seen and heard from Senator Rubio in the past few weeks, he seems to be his own “biggest threat”.

I’ll stick with Senator TED CRUZ all the way.

What is Rand’s shamnesty plan?

There are two things the republicans need to do to win in 2016; nominate a solidly constitutional ticket and avoid the circular firing squad. They’ve shown no talent for either recently.

False "either/or" premise. It is not Rand Paul vs. Marco Rubio. It is both! And it is awesome that they will each get to critique the poseur's SOTU.

And that's a good thing for America and our true friends around the world, especially Bibi Netanyahu.

Isn’t it great that Senator Rubio is delivering his response the Dismal State of the Union in Spanish?

Rand Paul/Sarah Palin

Rubio will deliver the pro-amnesty capitulation and sellout of US citizens for the Republican Party.

Seems to be more and more “plant” stories about Paul vs Rubio......not sure anything is for real.

I do know Id NEVER vote for Paul.

When the rubber meets the road, the GOPe is going to nominate whomever they want.

Sure, they'll allow the usual dog-and-pony shows long enough to make the rank and file think they've got a voice, but in the end it's always the same.

All those that want this country back need to stop playing ‘footsie’ with the Republican Party and move on to a third. Unless and until the heavy hitters join forces with the conservative rank and file via a third party, we'll never turn this thing around.

I think Paul, Palin, Bachmann, West, et al, are tremendous, but if they stay in the GOP, regardless of the alleged reason, it's all just talk.

Both are Senators. Neither one is a threat.

Rand is heads and shoulders over Rubio, but still weak (though not as weak as Rubio) on immigration. Rand is the most credible potential candidate on really cutting the size of the federal behemoth. But if he doesn’t straighten out his lenient immigration views I couldn’t support him.

I am very impressed with Cruz.

Rubio is a nonstarter.
