One bill has been added this week, dredging up the "Cop Killer Bullets" meme.
Get a load of the title of the bill:

"H.R. 538: To protect the Nation's law enforcement officers by banning the Five-seven Pistol and 5.7 x 28mm SS190, SS192, SS195LF, SS196, and SS197 cartridges, testing handguns and ammunition for capability to penetrate body armor, and prohibiting the manufacture, importation, sale, or purchase of such handguns or ammunition by civilians."

H.R. 21: NRA Members' Gun Safety Act of 2013. Sponsor: Rep Moran, James P.

Absolutely DISGUSTING! Moran is a MORON! There's not a single NRA member who supports this bill or any of these bills. As an endowment member, I plan to donate even more money to the cause. This shit has to stop. They're straight up using our names and affiliations to impugn our actual intent.

Negotiations are each party giving up something till they reach an agreement, so what is on the table.

WE got the guns, THEY got nothing.

WE got the guns, they have only a small threat of legislation.

We still got the guns.

End of subject.

We still got the guns.

What you say is true, but I'd like (for myself and for my children) to be able to go to the range for an afternoon without having to show my papers... or making sure I use only my 10 round magazines... or sell or buy a new weapon from a private seller and not have to wonder if the other person was an undercover Fed looking to arrest me for "trafficking". On and on and on...

Great work! Way to go! We should also be sure to post status of each bill from time to time, then roll call votes, if or when any votes happen.

Civilian police, except those in our military forces, are and always will be civilians, despite Hollywood's linguistic activism. And yes, police agencies are a large part of the constituency behind gun control and pork (federal funding) to local governments. And no, they don't want you to know that--especially those who are elected.

Thanks - that's my plan.
Ideally none of these will even get out of committee - but if and when they do, I will report and then we'll have a hard target for opposition.

My letters to this point have listed each bill and just said I am opposed to any.

We'll see...
