The second family in as little as a week has come forward with allegations that a Disneyland character snubbed them because they were black.
The White family said they took their son, Ryder, to Disneyland to celebrate his birthday in December.
The day was going well until Razzi White, 5, walked up to a performer in a Donald Duck costume at the park's Main Street.

I don’t know. the first story the kids family name is Black and wasn’t paid attention to because he was black. The 2nd story the kids familys name is White and the duck paid attn to a white child....

I hold with your theory. The White family, feeling privileged because of all the other lines they’ve bucked in life, probably tried to jump this line as well.
They should know better than to sue Disney. Disney sues other people, and they don’t lose because they play hardball in court. The last place I’d ever want to be is in court opposite Disney.
They are a celebration of capitalism and somebody(ies) might be having some fun there.

I don’t think there’s a single inch of Disney World that isn’t on tape. How long those tapes are kept is another question. Maybe the lawyer knows i.e., that they’re destroyed after 60 or 90 days so get charge from 4 or 5 months ago.
We’ll see tapes of how the characters treat kids over and over. The kids whose parents are making these claim would have to be interviewed, examined and cross-examined. I would hope WDW doesn’t rush into settling a case just to keep it quiet. That would merely invite ever more suits.

I wouldn't worry about that. Disney tends to go for the throat. They fully understand the negative consequences of settling.

Yes, and those costumes must be hellish to work in, on a hot day in California or Florida. That's not a job I would want to have!
I stay away from Dismaland, Knotts Minority Farm and Minority Mountain. All three seem to be geared toward minorities and I cannot imagine any minority not thinking so.
