Defense Secretary Leon Panetta testified this morning on Capitol Hill that President Barack Obama was absent the night four Americans were murdered in Benghazi on September 11, 2012:
Panetta said, though he did meet with Obama at a 5 o'clock prescheduled gathering, the president left operational details, including knowledge of what resources were available to help the Americans under siege, "up to us."
In fact, Panetta says that the night of 9/11, he did not communicate with a single person at the White House. The attack resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Hey, cut our king some slack. He had an early flight to Vegas the next morning to campaign. His re-election was much more important than the lives of an ambassador and some Seals.
Some may recall the staggering number of national security briefings he missed just prior to, during, and after 9/11. I never dreamed of anyone like Obama unless we had to get under our desks as kids when the nukes hit.
The president’s action doesn’t even seem to qualify as voting “present.”

I know I’m preaching to the choir here, but if this was George W. Bush, this story would be all over the media today.
Where are the 40+ survivors that were rescued, and why aren’t they in front of Congress?

Oh, the attacks went on for another 6-1/2 hour. Uhhhhh, well, he was packing for that long, arduous trip to Las Vegas the next morning. Packing is hard work. You gotta make sure the socks match. And stuff.

These hearings are revealing that neither Obama or Clinton were ‘involved’ during the 7-1/2 hours of the attacks, and neither of them apparently called for any ‘involvement’ by any US military support — some stationed just two hours away.
No wonder Clinton blamed the Internet and they trotted out Rice to spew that ridiculous story that the trailer for some obscure movie caused this.
So... what’s up with Panetta letting the cat out of the bag?
