The allegations against Sen. Robert Menendez may have started with unsubstantiated stories about trysts with prostitutes, but questions about the lawmaker’s conduct have reached the point where they’re not focused on sex. A slow drip of national news reports about the New Jersey Democrat and his ties to Florida ophthalmologist and political donor Salomon Melgen have put his office on the defensive over an assortment of issues including a port contract in the Dominican Republic and a possible intervention in a Medicare billing dispute involving the doctor. Menendez tried to move forward with his normal agenda Thursday, holding a morning roundtable discussion with Hispanic media outlets about immigration through the Senate Democratic Hispanic Task Force, of which he is chairman.
Even there, however, Menendez was pulled off-topic and denied he exerted improper influence to help Melgen in the Medicare dispute.
“The bottom line is we raised concerns with [Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services] over policy and over ambiguities that are difficult for medical providers to understand and to seek a clarification of that,” Menendez said, according to ABC News and Univision.

If he were a Republican, the press would hold him to a higher standard. The bar is set really low for Democrats. In fact, the bar is on the ground.
Wonder if Menendez is really into young boy prostitutes not the other types. He’s just a run of the mill PERV that inhabits the evil/wicked Governments in the West and other countries.
Every time I see Mendendez’s picture and stories about his Dominican pussycats, I think of ole Wilbur Mills and his Argentine Firecracker Fanny Foxe. Mills and Menendez share more in common than their looks. :)
