Who would ever have thought that the BSA would consider voting on leadership from a group of degenerates with such a hideous and obvious record of sex-offenses to openly enter such a fine organization for young boys? What a preposterous and ignorant notion.
The SBC must have caused a pause in the madness, but i feel it is still coming.
BSA put it on the agenda, they should have had the guts to take a vote. They put it off until May because that is the end of the school year. They want to give everyone the summer for the decision to sink in, and probably didn’t want people like me who vehemently disagree with the change to leave the pack mid-year. February is Blue/Gold month, and it certainly would have put a pall over the activities
As a scout leader, not voting is an act of sheer cowardice. BSA leadership board should be ashamed of themselves.

Agreed. This stinks of trying to have their cake and eat it too, fundraising now, deciding later. Well, this Friend of Scouting will now delay our contribution until at least May.
The queers smell blood, even if they don’t get their way now, every two years or so, we’ll go through this all over again...Rinse...Lather...Repeat...until they get their way.

I agree that they are thinking that...but let’s take this as a victory and try to work on the existing BSA to STOP this crap.
The BSA won't get a dime from me if they change their current policy and allow gay members and - *gag* - scout masters.
And that includes buying popcorn, etc. from kids set up in front of our local grocery stores. If they ask why I won't buy any, I'll calmly and "nicely" explain why, and walk away.

I’m also worried about it. I’ll be attending two Blue and Golds and one Troop Banquet (for my grandsons) in February and March. There’s always a collection taken there and I always give whatever it is they ask for (usually $250, I think). It’s a lot of money but I believe in their mission. I can’t help but wonder if they’re just trying to get this year’s donations.
If the Boy Scouts let the homosexuals in the door, it's over for them. The North American Man/Boy Love Association teaches classes on how to molest a child without getting caught. Who would want to hand their young sons over to these people?
If you want to find a homosexual, go to where the kids are. You'll find one there.
