That inarticulate crap is a red herring. Firstly because it’s a tired, old lefty trick to pretend the more conservative you are the more stupid and/or crazy you are. Do you really think it’s a coincidence every single Dem and East Coast, country club Pub was smarter or saner than Goldwater, Reagan, Palin, etc., unless they were Quayle?

More importantly, how many flubs did Bush the Younger have? Probably less than Vixen, but it was a “gaffe” a day. I suppose it’s not supposed to matter since he won. Except it’s exceedingly easy to argue he fist us the 06 and 08 elections at least, and perhaps marred the brand for a generation. Not to mention his rule was in fact defective and causative of all manner of evil, not merely painted that way by the other side.

Then there are a million establishment Pubs wrecked by their tongues. Trent Lott, for instance. Akin was hardly a newbie. Aside from Bachmann the loosest mouth of the presidential nomination sweepstakes was the establishment Santorum.

No, sorry, I can’t take this seriously. The “architect” of Bushism fighting inarticulateness? Too, too rich.

the fact he had to come out and state he did not want to exlude conservative primary challengers and he did not want to protect incumbants speaks volumes about the ongoing power of the conservative movement.
